Chapter 94
Marrying the Man in the Dark
Chapter 94 Spend A Night with Me.
âAlso, they want me to go for an early meeting tomorrow morning. Do you know how to run a meeting?â
Her earnest appearance corresponded with her hardworking and studious persona.
Damien answered each question patiently. âIf youâre afraid of the meeting tomorrow morning. I can
come with you.â
âThatâs great!â
Cherise turned his face excitedly and kissed his cheek. âIf youâre with me, darling, Iâm not afraid of
anything!â
She didnât know why, but she was willing to trust him even when she knew full well that Damien had no
professional managerial talents.
She trusted him firmly without any doubt.
At a distance, Mr. Hampson was startled when he saw the action of Cherise holding Damienâs face and
kissing it.
If he remembered correctly, Damien hated intimate touch with anyone since the incident. when Damien
was thirteen years old.
Damien had cleaned his injuries even when he had burns on his face. He had never let anyone touch
his face.
But Cheriseâ¦
Mr. Hampsonâs gaze fell on Cheriseâs hands, which were stained with fountain pen grease.
He was astonished again.
Mrs. Lenoir⦠Not only did she use her hands to hold Mr. Lenoirâs face and kiss him, but her hands
were also unwashedâ¦.
Mr. Lenoir unexpectedly didnât get angry or repel her?
âPut your bag down and wash your hands. Then, come eat.â
Damien picked up a napkin and wiped away the saliva from her kiss slightly exasperatedly.
Cherise laughed slightly embarrassedly. âIâll be back at once!â

After that, the delicate woman ran up the stairs, thumping with her yellow duck bag.
After a while, the bright girl returned energetically.
She sat across from Damien and beamed at him. âHoney, since youâve figured it out, can. you teach
me after dinner?â
The servants started serving dinner at the table.
Damien spoke with a faint smile. âRandall will be less willing to take the company back when he sees
how earnest you are.â
Cherise was dumbstruck.
She flattened her lips, picked up her utensils, and quietly poked at the food on her plate. âI just feel like
since Iâm already in such a position. I should have the correct attitude and do what I must properly.â
She thought of how there seemed to be many people unsatisfied that she was the
president when she was inspecting the office in the afternoon. They had even mocked and ridiculed
her.
Although Bernard had sent people to deal with them, she still felt uncomfortable thinking about it.
She had never cared when others ridiculed her family background and circumstances.
But she couldnât stand others saying she was incapable!
She was competent!
She always came in first in all her subjects!
Damien saw her unhappy face with pursed lips and shook his head in exasperation. âI can teach you,
but there is a fee.â
Cheriseâs eyes instantly lit up..
She looked up at him. âWhatâs the fee?â
The man picked up his utensils elegantly and took some food. âSpend a night with me.â
Cherise was dumbstruck.
She was a studious student.

After finishing dinner, she followed Damien to the study room anxiously.
However, the companyâs personnel structure and roles were too tricky.
She lay on the desk and fell asleep shortly.
Under the light, Damien sat next to her. He looked at her delicate figure and the notebook. before her
with thick scribbles comparable to her lecture notes.
A faint smile appeared on the corners of the manâs lips.
He reached out and tucked a strand of hair on her face behind her ears.
The girlâs fair face seemed more translucent under the glow of the light.
He looked at her and kissed her almost uncontrollably.
âMr. Lenoir.â
His thin, cool lips had just touched her fair, porcelain-like skin when Mr. Hampsonâs voice rang at the
door. âRandall is here.â
The man stood up indifferently and took the pen out of Cheriseâs hands before carrying her. âLet him
wait for me in the study room.â
After that, Damien carried Cherise out of the study room and walked toward the bedroom.
