There was a slight twinkle in his eyes, which looked gentle and loving. Xiao Yunyun met his eyes and her heart started beating wildly.

Then her face was burning red.

Xiao Yunyun secretly scolded herself for being timid and she looked in another direction at the same time, “Forget it! Now I don’t want to know!” Then she turned around to leave.

Shen Yuechuan stopped Xiao Yunyun. “Wait.”

Xiao Yunyun turned around unwillingly. “What?”

Shen Yuechuan’s arms crossed before his chest. “I just saved you. Don’t you want to show your gratitude?”

Xiao Yunyun agreed and casually said, “Thank you.”

“That’s it?” Shen Yuechuan frowned with dissatisfaction. “That’s too light. You don’t seem to be this impolite.”

“What should I do to be polite then?” Xiao Yunyun asked smilingly, “Should I give myself to you?”

“Yes!” Shen Yuechuan nodded and said, “I can take you to the Civil Affairs Bureau now.”

His eyes were joyful. It wasn’t clear if he was serious or if he was just joking.

Xiao Yunyun’s heartbeat ran even faster.

Shen Yuechuan sighed and shook his head. “That’s a shame.” There was some sorrow in his tone and she still couldn’t tell whether it was real or not.

Xiao Yunyun looked at Shen Yuechuan with some confusion. “What shame?”

“It’s a shame that your taste is terrible.” Shen Yuechuan patted Xiao Yunyun’s head and smiled seriously. “But that’s fine. I have a good eye!”

Xiao Yunyun reached out her hand to feel the temperature on Shen Yuechuan’s forehead, “Do you have a fever? What is the relationship between your good taste and mine?”

Shen Yuechuan smiled mysteriously again, “There is a relationship that you wouldn’t understand for now.”

Xiao Yunyun agreed and nodded, “I really don’t understand.”
