The evening sun bathed the living room in a warm, golden glow as Aira sat curled up on the couch, her eyes drifting over the words in the book she was pretending to read. But her mind wasn't on the story; it was on the woman standing in the kitchen, focused on preparing dinner. Tawan moved with her usual calm precision, and Aira found herself smiling at the sight.

It was a scene she had grown accustomed to, but one that still filled her with a sense of warmth and contentment. After everything they had been through, this quiet, domestic moment felt like a dream come true.

As if sensing Aira's gaze, Tawan looked up, her eyes meeting Aira's across the room. A small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "What are you thinking about?"

Aira closed her book, setting it aside as she stretched languidly. "Just admiring the view."

Tawan raised an eyebrow, a teasing glint in her eyes. "The view?"

Aira nodded, her smile turning playful. "Mm-hmm. It's not every day you get to watch your girlfriend cook dinner."

Tawan's cheeks flushed a light pink, and she shook her head with a soft laugh. "You're impossible."

"And you love it," Aira shot back, standing up and making her way to the kitchen. She wrapped her arms around Tawan's waist from behind, resting her chin on Tawan's shoulder. "What's for dinner?"

Tawan glanced at the pan in front of her. "Something simple. Stir-fried vegetables and chicken."

Aira hummed appreciatively. "Smells amazing."

They stood like that for a moment, Aira's arms wrapped around Tawan, both of them basking in the comfortable silence that had settled over them. It was moments like these that made Aira realize just how deeply she had fallen for Tawan. There was something so grounding, so wonderfully real about being able to hold her, to feel her warmth, to share these everyday moments.

After a while, Tawan cleared her throat, breaking the silence. "I've been thinking about something."

Aira perked up, her curiosity piqued. "Oh? What is it?"

Tawan turned off the stove, wiping her hands on a towel before turning to face Aira. "I've been considering my next steps. Now that things have calmed down, I've been thinking about starting my own private security firm."

Aira's eyes widened in surprise, then quickly filled with excitement. "Really? That's amazing, Tawan!" She paused, her smile softening. "But... why?"

Tawan leaned back against the counter, her expression thoughtful. "I realized that I want to use my skills to help people in a different way. Being a personal bodyguard was meaningful, but I think I can do more by providing security services on a larger scale. Helping people feel safe, training others... it just feels right."

Aira nodded slowly, processing Tawan's words. "I think that's a great idea. You'd be amazing at it."

Tawan's eyes softened as she reached out, brushing a stray lock of hair from Aira's face. "It would mean a lot of changes, though. I'd be busy setting things up, traveling to meet clients... I don't want that to affect us."

Aira's heart warmed at the concern in Tawan's voice, but then a tiny flicker of something else stirred inside her—a feeling she wasn't quite used to. "Clients... you mean, you'd be protecting other people?"

Tawan blinked, clearly taken aback by the question. "Well, yes. That's part of the job."

Aira's gaze dropped for a moment, a small pout forming on her lips. "So, you'd be running around keeping other people safe while I'm stuck here missing you?"

Tawan's expression softened, a hint of amusement in her eyes. "Aira, are you... jealous?"

Aira glanced up, her pout deepening as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Maybe a little. It's just... you've always been there for me. It's weird to think of you protecting someone else."

Tawan's smile widened, and she reached out, gently taking Aira's hands in hers. "I'll always be there for you. This firm, it's something I need to do, but it doesn't mean you're any less important to me."

Aira looked down at their joined hands, a soft smile tugging at her lips. "You better not forget that."

"I won't," Tawan promised, her voice earnest. "You're the most important person in my life, Aira. Always."

Aira's heart swelled at the words, and she leaned in, resting her forehead against Tawan's. "Good. Because I'm not sharing you with anyone else."

Tawan chuckled softly, her eyes shining with affection. "You don't have to."

Aira grinned, the jealousy fading as she felt the sincerity in Tawan's words. She leaned in and brushed a soft kiss against Tawan's lips. "I love you."

"I love you too," Tawan whispered, her voice filled with quiet warmth.

They stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, savoring the love and comfort that had become so natural between them.

After a moment, Aira pulled back slightly, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "You know, you're going to have to deal with me being all lovey-dovey now. Are you ready for that?"

Tawan laughed softly, her eyes shining with affection. "I think I can handle it."

Aira's smile turned playful, and she leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Tawan's lips. "I love you, Tawan. So much."

Tawan's heart fluttered at the words, and she smiled, her voice filled with quiet sincerity. "I love you too, Aira. More than I can say."

Aira's eyes lit up with excitement, and she wrapped her arms around Tawan's neck, lifting herself slightly onto her toes. "You know, we should live together again."

Tawan blinked, her expression caught between surprise and something softer. "Are you sure? I don't want to disrupt your life, Aira."

Aira's heart swelled at the concern in Tawan's voice, and she shook her head, smiling. "You're not disrupting anything. If anything, you're making it better. I want to come home to you, to share my life with you. Don't you want that too?"

Tawan's eyes searched Aira's face, the emotions in them raw and unguarded. "I do," she admitted softly. "But I don't want you to feel pressured. I want you to be sure."

Aira's smile turned gentle, her voice filled with warmth. "I am sure, Tawan. I've never been more sure of anything in my life."

Tawan's gaze softened, and she squeezed Aira's hands gently. "Okay. Let's do it then."

Aira's eyes lit up with excitement, and she pulled Tawan into a tight hug, her heart pounding with happiness. "You have no idea how happy that makes me."

Tawan chuckled, wrapping her arms around Aira. "I think I have some idea."

As they pulled back, Tawan's eyes seemed to darken with something deeper, a look that made Aira's breath catch. Without a word, Tawan's hands moved to Aira's waist, and before Aira could react, she was lifted effortlessly off the ground and placed gently on the kitchen counter.

Aira let out a soft gasp, her heart racing as she looked down at Tawan, her cheeks flushing at the unexpected boldness. "T-Tawan, what...?"

Tawan's lips curved into a slow, teasing smile. "I just wanted you closer."

Aira's heart skipped a beat, her hands resting on Tawan's shoulders as she felt the warmth of Tawan's body between her legs. "You really are full of surprises."

Tawan's gaze never left Aira's, her hands sliding gently up Aira's thighs, sending a shiver through her. "I have my moments."

Aira's breath hitched as Tawan's hands moved higher, the intensity in Tawan's eyes making her heart pound. "I... I didn't know you could be like this."

Tawan's smile softened, her fingers brushing against Aira's cheek. "There's a lot you don't know about me."

Aira's pulse quickened, her eyes searching Tawan's face as she felt the familiar warmth of desire pooling in her belly. "I'd like to find out."

Tawan's smile widened, and she leaned in, her lips capturing Aira's in a slow, lingering kiss. Aira's eyes fluttered shut, her hands curling into Tawan's shirt as the kiss deepened, their bodies pressing closer together.

The world around them seemed to fade away as they lost themselves in each other, the soft sound of their breaths mingling in the quiet room. Aira's heart raced as Tawan's hands roamed over her back, pulling her closer, until there was no space left between them.

Aira's fingers tangled in Tawan's hair, and she felt a shiver run down her spine as Tawan's lips moved against hers, slow and gentle, yet filled with a passion that made her entire body ache with need.

Just as Aira felt herself getting lost in the moment, Tawan suddenly pulled back, her eyes wide with realization. "The dinner..."

Aira blinked, her mind still hazy from the kiss. "What?"

Tawan glanced at the stove, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. "The dinner's probably gone cold by now."

Aira let out a small laugh, resting her forehead against Tawan's. "I guess we got a little carried away."

Tawan's eyes sparkled with a playful glint. "I can heat it up later... but I can't hold the heat inside me anymore."

Aira's eyes widened, her cheeks flushing at the unexpected boldness in Tawan's voice. "T-Tawan!"

Tawan's smile turned a little sheepish, and she scratched the back of her neck. "Sorry, that was... a bit much, wasn't it?"

Aira shook her head, a grin spreading across her face as she looked at Tawan, her heart swelling with love. "No, it's just... I've never seen this side of you before."

Tawan's expression softened, and she reached out, gently tucking a stray lock of hair behind Aira's ear. "You bring out a side of me I didn't know existed."

Aira's heart melted at the words, and she leaned in, brushing her lips against Tawan's in a soft, tender kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too," Tawan whispered, her voice filled with quiet sincerity.

They stayed like that for a long moment, wrapped in each other's arms, the world around them fading away as they held on to each other, knowing that whatever came next, they would face it together.

And as they shared another gentle kiss, Aira knew that this was just the beginning of the beautiful life they were building together.
