199 Dumping Victor
Mimi could bear a grudge, Victor found out the hard way on his way out of there.
âMimi!â He called out but she ignored him, walking over to where their car was parked while he followed after her to the best of his ability.
Now, the excitement was gone, his body ached like hell and he realized how much he needed to settle down. A couple of painkillers and a much-needed sleep would help him recover greatly.
âPlease, just listen to â aww!â Victor tripped over his own feet in the process of trying to catch up to her and fell face-first on the sand.
Damn, when did he become clumsy?
But that fall touched Mimi because she turned and came to his aid at once.
âCan you stand?â She asked, and helped pull him up.
âIâm not a p*ssy,â He scowled at her out of embarrassment yet leaned slightly on her, letting her take some of his weight.
Even when he was on his feet, Mimi didnât let him walk all by himself, supporting him to the car â the driver still in his position. Dracoâs underling had threatened the shit out of him that he didnât dare to take a step out of the car after the warning.
.....
âSo I shout all this while and you ignore me but the moment I fall, you finally talk to me?â Victor intentionally teased her.
Mimi glared up at him, âYou seem to be fine,â She pushed him away and Victor stumbled to the side with laughter, leaning against the car.
âYou are so cute when youâre angry,â He laughed harder.
âI guess itâs funny to you toying around with peopleâs feelings?â Mimi spat at him with venom.
His laughter ceased, his expression becoming serious having realized he might have inadvertently hurt her in the process of having fun.
âIâm serious,â Victor apologized sincerely, âI didnât mean to hurt -â
âSave it for whoever needs it,â Mimi cut him off and brusquely entered the car leaving the door open â if he wanted to come in as well. She didnât exactly care.
After a minute of staying outside, clueless on how to coax her, Victor entered the backseat with her to the driverâs happiness. The man couldnât wait to drive them to their respective homes and be done with them; he was quitting immediately.
Not less than a minute after he settled down, Mimi alerted the driver, âPlease drive him to the base first and we can return to my place afterward,â
She knew people like them donât get treated at the hospital so sheâd dump him at the base where he likely had a line of professional doctors ready to treat his wounds.
âNo,â Victor objected right away, wiping his face with his palm, âI canât return looking like this, Marcel would know whatâs up immediately and I canât let that happen. This is my mess with Draco, not his,â He complained.
Contrary to his expectation, Mimi was not touched by his words, rather she wrapped her hand across her chest asking sarcastically, âWhere should I dump you then?â
Victor looked sharply at her, an unknown emotion crossing his eyes. However, it flickered away and he said softly, âYou know the only place in the world I can be truly alone,â He hinted at his secret abode.
âSuit yourself then,â Mimi retorted, looking out the other way through the window and trying not to think of the memories from that place. Or the fact she was the only woman going there for the second time.
Well, f*ck, what was she thinking? Mimi knew there was no way she was stepping into that house the second time, sheâd just drop him there and be on her way.
An awkward silence fell on them after that short conversation. The tension between the both of them was so thick that a knife could cut through it and Victor was uncomfortable with it. This was the first time Mimi was intentionally being mean to him and he hated it. He liked her cheerful self better â it perfectly complemented his.
Victor was thinking of ways to cheer her up without hurting her feelings only for his phone to ring and seeing the caller dampened his mood.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Marcel.
He must be back â and hopefully doesnât know of this.
âWhere are you?â was the first question the annoying hulk of a cousin thundered as soon as he answered.
âHaving fun,â Victor replied. That was the only legitimate excuse Marcel would believe.
âI donât hear any music,â Of course, his ever-observant cousin knew his definition of having fun was partying. Sometimes, Victor wondered who was more annoying, Marcel or his mother.
âThis is another version of fun,â He said.
âWho are you with?â
At that question, Victorâs brows furrowed and he looked around the car trying to see if there was any hidden camera in place, and in the process, caught Mimi staring at him.
Of course, he felt her eyes on him since the call began but he didnât react. As expected, she looked away as soon as he caught her staring and Victor had to admit, her reaction was quite cute.
Victor would have teased her if he wasnât on a call with Marcel, âAre you following me?â He checked the window for any car trailing them secretly.
âWould I be calling if I had a clue where you are,â Marcel retorted, âEven if I did know, why would I bother worrying about you when youâre probably buried and stretching a womanâs tight cunt right now, huh? Tell me Iâm wrong,â
Victor was thankful he didnât have the call on speaker else Mimi would be scared out of her wits now. Marcel was no gentleman, he was blunt and foul-mouthed. What was he going to do with this cousin of his?
This time, Victor lowered his voice,â Well, Iâm doing no such thing and you can rest assured Iâm fine. So just go away.â
Victor wanted to end the call badly but hanging up on Marcel when he wasnât done was as good as asking for trouble. If Marcel tracked him down, he might stumble upon what happened tonight, so he had to entertain him until he was done.
âI highly doubt that but since I donât hear the bitchâs moan, youâre probably telling the truth. Is that why youâre whispering? It must be that good,â
Victor rolled his eyes, Marcel probably doesnât know the words, âtoo much informationâ.
To his annoyance, Marcel went on, âGuess, Iâm not seeing you tonight â wait a minute, did Mimi come here?â
Victor readjusted in his seat at once, how did he....? Was he....?
