As evening approaches…"Travel safely, ma. Don’t forget to send a letter once you reach," Priya’s father advises as vijay carries her bags outside."Appa, do I really have to leave? How will you manage everything? You spent all your savings on my wedding, even though I asked you not to. How will you pay Vijay’s fees? And the loans… how will you handle them, Appa?" Priya asks, her voice laced with worry."I’ll manage, ma. I’ve decided to work at the nearby warehouse in the evenings after my fieldwork. Don’t worry about us. This is a new chapter in your life, and I want it to be filled with happiness. Don’t burden yourself with thoughts of us—just be happy, ma. That’s all I want for you," her father says gently, stroking her hair."Maama, everything is ready, so…" Puvi says as he enters."Yes, come, ma," her father responds, placing a reassuring hand on Priya’s shoulder as he leads her and Puvi outside.Looking at Puvi, he says with quiet sincerity, "She’s like a child, maapla. She doesn’t know anything except to love and bring happiness to those around her. Please take care of her. Even if she makes mistakes, don’t be harsh with her—she would never do anything intentionally."Priya shares a final embrace with Vijay as a farewell."You don’t have to worry about anything, maama. I will take care of her," Puvi assures him with a confident smile."I would never hurt Priya. I have promised to give her a happy life, and I intend to keep that promise."Priya’s father smiles gratefully and pats Puvi’s shoulder.With that, Priya and Puvi step into the white Ambassador car.As the car begins to move, Priya leans out, waving to her father and brother."Bye, Appa! Bye, Vijay! Study well, da! I’ll write to you once I reach!" she calls out as the car disappears around the corner.Her father watches until the car is out of sight, then lets out a sigh and gently leads Vijay back into their home.மாலை நேரம் வந்தடைகிறது..."பாதுகாப்பாக சென்று சேரு மா. அங்கே சென்றதும் ஒரு கடிதம் அனுப்ப மறந்துவிடாதே," எனக் கூறினார் பிரியாவின் தந்தை, விஜய் பிரியாவின் துணி பைகளை காரில் பின்புறம் வைக்கச் சென்றான்."அப்பா, நான் கண்டிப்பாக போக வேண்டுமா? நீங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் எப்படி சமாளிப்பீர்கள்? திருமணத்திற்காக நீங்கள் உங்கள் முழு சேமிப்பையும் பயன்படுத்திவிட்டீர்கள், நான் எவ்வளவோ சொல்லியும். விஜய்க்கு படிப்பு கட்டணத்தை எப்படி செலுத்துவீர்கள்? மீதமுள்ள கடன்களை எப்படி அடைப்பீர்கள், அப்பா?" என்று கவலையுடன் கேட்டாள் பிரியா."நான் பார்த்துக் கொள்கிறேன்  மா. வயலில் வேலை முடிந்ததும், அருகிலுள்ள கூடனில் இரவிலும் வேலை செய்ய முடிவு செய்திருக்கிறேன். எங்களைப் பற்றிச் சிந்திக்க வேண்டாம். இது உனக்கான புதிய வாழ்க்கை, அதை சந்தோஷமாகச் வாழ்  . எங்களைப் பற்றி கவலைப்பட்டு இருக்காதே, மகிழ்ச்சியாக இரு மா. அதுவே என் ஆசை," என்று அவளது தந்தை மெதுவாக அவளது தலைமுடியை வருடியபடி சொன்னார்."மாமா, எல்லாமே தயாராகிவிட்டது, அப்படியென்றால்..." என புவி உள்ளே வந்தான்."ஆமாம், வா மா," என்று கூறியபடி, பிரியாவின் தந்தை அவளது தோளில் கை வைத்துக்கொண்டு, புவி மற்றும் பிரியாவை வெளியே அழைத்துச் சென்றார்.புவியைப் பார்த்து அவர் மனம்திறந்து, "அவள் ஒரு குழந்தை மாதிரி மாப்பிள்ளை. எல்லோருக்கும் பாசம் கொடுத்து, மகிழ்ச்சியாக வைத்திருப்பதைத்தவிர, வேறு ஒன்றும் தெரியாது. தயவுசெய்து அவளை நன்றாக கவனித்துக்கொள்ளு. ஏதாவது தவறு செய்தாலும், அவளிடம் கோபப்படாதீர்கள்," என்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.பிரியா, தனது சகோதரன் விஜயை இறுதியாக கட்டி அணைத்துக்கொண்டால் " நீங்கள் எதற்கும் கவலைப்பட தேவையில்லை மாமா. நான் பிரியாவை நன்றாக பார்த்துக்கொள்வேன்," என்று உறுதியாகச் சொன்னான் புவி."பிரியாவுக்கு நான் எந்த நேரத்திலும் காயம் ஏற்படுத்த மாட்டேன். அவளுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியான வாழ்க்கை தருவேன் என்று சத்தியம் செய்துள்ளேன், அதை நிறைவேற்றுவதே என் நோக்கம்."பிரியாவின் தந்தை, நன்றி கொண்ட புன்னகையுடன் புவியின் தோளில் அன்பாக தட்டினார்.பின்னர், புவி மற்றும் பிரியா வெள்ளை அம்பாசடர் காரில் ஏறினர்.கார் நகரத் தொடங்கும்போது, பிரியா வெளியில் பார்த்துக்கொண்டு  கை அசைத்தாள்."பை அப்பா! பை விஜய்! நன்றாக படிக்கணும் டா! அங்கே சென்றதும் கடிதம் எழுதுவேன்!" என்று கத்தினாள், காரில் இருக்கும் நிலையிலும்.அவள் காணாமல் போனதும், அவரது தந்தை ஆழ்ந்த சுவாசமெடுத்து, விஜயின் தோளில் கை வைத்துக்கொண்டு வீட்டிற்குள் அழைத்துச் சென்றார்.Puvi's parents have already went to railway station and they were waiting for them."Don't be scared, I won’t bite," Puvi whispers to Priya, noticing how tense she is."I-I’m not a-afraid," Priya stammers in protest."Of course, you're not," Puvi says with a smirk, casually draping his arm around her shoulder. She instantly flinches and lets out a small yelp."Someone just said they weren't afraid," Puvi teases, removing his arm."I-I'm not. J-just nervous," Priya admits, her cheeks turning pink.Puvi chuckles, finding his wife’s reactions adorable.He can’t deny how thrilled he is to start this new life with her. Everything happened so fast—just within a week—but he’s glad it did. Now, he has all the time in the world to spend with his wife.Within minutes, they reach the station and start carrying their luggage toward the platform. The train chugs loudly, signaling that it’s about to depart.The three of them board and place their bags near their seats, where Puvi’s parents have already settled."Took you all long enough," his mother comments as the train begins to move.Puvi throws her a warning look, silently telling her not to say anything further. He knows Priya is already feeling emotional.Understanding his signal, his mother falls silent and glances at Priya, who is staring wistfully out of the window, lost in thought.Puvi lets out a small sigh as he watches her."(Don’t start drooling, dude.)," Naveen mutters beside him."She’s my wife. I can drool over her as much as I want," Puvi retorts, playfully smacking Naveen on the head."Ahh, okay, okay!" I was just playing with you dude "பயப்படாதே, நான் உன்னை கடிக்கப் போவதில்லை," என்று புவி மெதுவாக கிசுகிசுத்தான், பிரியாவின் உறுத்திய உடலை கவனித்தபோது."ந-நான் பயப்படவில்லை," என்று தடுமாறிக் கொண்டே எதிர்த்தாள் பிரியா."அப்படி எனில் சரி," என்று புன்னகையுடன் கூறியபடி, புவி அவளது தோளில் கையை வைத்தான். அதிர்ச்சியடைந்த பிரியா ஒருகணம் திரும்பிப் பார்த்தாள், சிறு ஒலி எழுப்பியது போல." யாரோ தான் பயப்பட மாட்டார்கள் என்று சொன்னது போல் இருக்கிறது ?" என்று புவி கேலி செய்தான், பின்னர் தனது கையை மீண்டும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டான்."ந-நான் பயப்படவில்லை. அ-அது சற்றே பதட்டம் அடைந்து விட்டேன் ," என்று சிவந்த கன்னங்களுடன் கூறினாள் பிரியா.பிரியாவின் அழகிய வெட்கத்தைப் பார்த்து, புவி சிரித்தான்.அவளுடன் வாழ்க்கையைத் தொடங்குவதற்கான எதிர்பார்ப்பு அவனுக்குள் மறுக்க முடியாத சுகம் கொண்டது. அனைத்தும் ஒரே வாரத்திற்குள் நடந்துவிட்டது, ஆனால் அவனுக்கு அது மகிழ்ச்சியாகவே இருந்தது. இனிமேல், அவளுடன் அதிக நேரம் செலவிடும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கப் போகிறது .சில நிமிடங்களில், அவர்கள் ரயில் நிலையத்தை அடைந்தனர். பைகளை தூக்கிக்கொண்டு, பிளாட்பாரத்திற்கு செல்லத் தொடங்கினர். ரயில் மெதுவாக ஓசையுடன் நகரத் தொடங்கியது, செல்ல தயாராக இருப்பதற்கான அறிகுறியாக.அவர்கள் உள்ளே சென்று, பைகளை இடும்போது, புவியின் பெற்றோர் ஏற்கனவே இருக்கையில் அமர்ந்து இருந்தனர்."எவ்வளவு நேரம் எடுத்துக்கொண்டீர்கள்!" என்று அவனது அம்மா சொல்ல, ரயில் நகரத் தொடங்கியது.புவி உடனே அவளை எச்சரிக்கும் பார்வையில் பார்த்தான், " சிறிது நேரம் அமைதியாக இருங்கள் அம்மா " என்ற கூறினான். புவியின் தாய்க்கு தெரியும், பிரியா ஏற்கனவே மனமுடைந்து இருக்கிறாள்.அவள் அதை உணர்ந்து அமைதியாக இருந்து, சோகமாக ஜன்னலின் வழியாக வெளியே பார்க்கும் பிரியாவை கவனித்தாள்.புவி ஆழ்ந்த ஒரு சுவாசம் விட்டான், அவளைக் கவனிக்கும்போது."வழியாத மச்சான் " என்று பக்கத்தில் இருந்த நவீன் கிசுகிசுத்தான். அவை ஏன் பொண்டாட்டி நான் எவ்வளவு வேணும்னா வழிவேன்.  நான் சும்மா உன்ன வம்பு இழுத்து பார்த்தேன் டா புவி என நவின் சிரித்துக் கொண்டே சொன்னான்.
