NAGMAMADALING lumakad si Jeva pabalik sa kanilang beach house habang nakatakip ang kanyang mga palad sa kanyang mukha. Manang Minda and Manong Kabo caught them in a very embarrassing position.
Kung bakit ba kasi doon sila natulog sa tabing dagat? Ginulo ni Jeva ang kanyang buhok dahil sa paulit-ulit na nagre-replay sa kanyang utak ang nangyari.
The couple couple saw them sleeping on the shore. Jeva was on top of Champ her face was on his chest while her husband's hands was on her ass. Inis na inis siya dahil tuwang-tuwa pa ang asawa niya ni hindi man lang nahiya.
They were teasing her even when they were eating breakfast. Pulang-pula ang mukha ni Jeva dahil doon at hindi man lang siya tinulungan ng kanyang asawa.
After changing her clothes Jeva went back wearing a colored blue pair of microkini. Champ is currently eyeing her when he sees her outfit.
"What the hell are you wearing?!" - he angrily shouted at her.
She rolled her eyes. "What do you think? Are you dumb?"
"I am not dumb to not know what kind of clothes you are wearing. I am asking you, why?! Why do you have to wear that kind of clothes?!" - Champ can now definitely say that he is really becoming possessive when it comes to his wife. He wanted all of her to become his. Not on paper but by heart.
"What is your problem with these?!" - Jeva became so irritated with her husband. Hindi nga siya nito sinaklolohan sa kahihiyan kanina ngayon naman ay sinisigawan siya nito dahil sa suot niya.
"My problem was the piece of clothes!" - he growled. "What if anyone will see you with that?!"
"Sinong makakakita sa 'tin dito ha?!" - she growled back. "Look around you, sweetheart. All you can see is water, sand, trees and the beach house. Who do you think will see me with these?!"
Manong Kabo and his wife left together with a few other men who built the bamboo kayak.
They might not be able to visit the tourist spots in Siargao but this Jecha Island has a lot of things to offer. They can do surfing, kayaking and of course swimming. Three of manong Kabo's company climbed up on the coconut trees while manang Minda made a buko salad for them.
THE TWO spend their time together in the water. They surf and do kayaking. They push and pull each other in and out of the water. They shared laughter and pissed each other.
They went out of the water the moment they felt exhausted. Then, they went back to the beach house to get some rest.
Hours later.
Champ finds his wife dipped herself in the jacuzzi. With her eyes closed.
"Hey! Let's go out for a swim."
Jeva immediately opened her eyes and stood up, revealing her naked body. Champ quickly turned his gaze away from her sinful body.
"You should not do that whenever you like."
She smirked. "Do what?" - she said trying to catch his eyes. When her feet suddenly slip and made her fall. Mariin siyang napapikit habang hinihintay na bumagsak ang kanyang sarili sa sahig.
She opened her one eye for what she expects doesn't happen. She saw her husband staring straight on her eyes while his hand was wrapped around his waist. She suddenly feels hot knowing that her husband's hand is touching her bare skin.
Champ cleared his throat and landed her carefully.
He tsked. "You should be careful. Ang tanga mo naman."
"Salamat ha?" - she sarcastically said. Siguro nga ay tanga sya because she's continuously falling for someone even though she knew that her feelings may not be reciprocated.
"You're welcome, beautiful." - he said genuinely. Napanganga naman si Jeva sa tinawag nito sa kanya.
"¿Yo?"- she asked, pointing at herself.
"Si. You are not dumb not know." - he said leaving her there and walk towards the shore.
She's not dumb but she doesn't really have the confidence to say that she's a beauty in front of her husband. She may have said that she is to her friends but it was in a joke way.
Jeva wore a red pair of bikini under her beach dress, she put the sling of the camera on her neck before she followed her husband.
"Hey, sweetheart. Let's take our first picture together." - she said happily to him. She is so excited to get a picture with him. Their first picture together.
He hummed as he shook his head. "Let's swim."
"Let's took a photo first." - pamimilit niya sa lalaki pero umiling ulit ito.
Jeva pulled a face. Of course, he wouldn't like it. Who would, right? Everyone who's on their right mind, wouldn't. She clearly knew that her husband doesn't like to ruin his career. Does he doesn't trust her? Does he really think that she will leak their photo if ever they will take one?
She bit her lips to suppress her tears as she watched him walk towards the sea.
"Malunod ka sanang hinayupak ka!!!" - she shouted at him while the latter laughed and waved his hands.
"Kung ayaw mong makipagpicture sa akin. Edi, ako ako na lang. Magsi-selfie nalang ako." - she bitterly said to herself trying to hide the pain she felt in her heart.
She took a couple of photos of herself. She pouted as she looked at them. "It would be more lovely if we're taking it together."
This is their first vacation together. She wanted to have a remembrance of it, to savour the moment that they have. So that, she had something to look at whenever she wanted to reminisce about their memories, the memories that they really treat each other as husband and wife.
UMAHON mula sa tubig si Champ. It's already twilight. He became worried when he couldn't see his wife around the shore.
"Leyn!" - he called her name.
"Jeva Leyn, where are you?!"
"Sweetheart!"
"¡¿Donde estas?!"
"¡Querido! ¡¿Donde estas?!"
He keeps calling her name while searching everywhere. Thinking where the hell would his wife be. Thinking if he really upsets her a while ago because she wanted to take a photo.
He doesn't want to take a photo because she said it was their first photo when he knew it was not.
"Swee--" - he stopped when he saw her behind the big stone sitting on the sand while holding her ankle.
"What the hell happened?!" - he asked worriedly. He doesn't know which part of her he would touch, he is afraid that he might hurt her more.
She winced when his hand slightly touched her foot. "What the fuck?! You're making me so worried!"
Even if she felt pain she still managed to laugh at her husband. "I think I twisted my ankle." - she said while chuckling.
Champ snorted. "Hindi ko alam na masaya pala ang masprain?"
"Aw!" - she winced. "Hindi naman masaya but you're so funny."
"Masaya bang pagtawanan ang taong nag-aalala sayo?" - he said bitterly while Jeva lose her smile.
She bit her lip. "I'm sorry."
"I love you."
Jeva stilled with the words she heard from his mouth. She stops breathing and not even blinking her eyes.
"Breath." - natatawang saway niya sa babae.
"A-ano sabi mo?" - she said trying her best not to stutter but she failed.
"Te amo, cariño." - he said while looking at her eyes intently as if they're talking for him too.
Jeva's face heats up. She doesn't expect those words to come out of his mouth. From the man whom she loved with all her heart.
She suddenly cried so loud. Nanlaki ang mga mata si Champ dahil sa biglaang pagngawa ng babae sa harap niya. Hindi niya alam kung ano ang gagawin at kung ano ang rason kung bakit para itong batang inagawan ng lollipop.
"Why are you being such a crybaby?" - nakangiwing tanong sa babae.
Tinuro siya nito habang ngumangawa pa rin. Champ felt so uneasy because of her actions.
"Why did it become my fault? Did I hurt you? Did I hit your injured foot? Did--"
"No." - she said while sobbing
"Then why?"
She sniffs a couple of times before answering. "You just made my heart flutters." - she sobs.
He chuckled tsaka ginulo ang buhok ng babae. "Silly." - he grabbed her and hugged her tight. He start chuckling when she starts sobbing so hard again.
Champ just realized that he really can't keep his wife away from his gaze. He was so scared to think that he really might lose her for good and she doesn't want that. Only her can make his heart go wild. It beats irregularly fast. Saying boom boom boom. Only her can give him happiness and peace in his heart. Only her can make her so scared of losing. Only her. He doesn't want anyone but her. Only her. Only his wife.
"Te amo." - she whispered to his ears. They were still hugging each other. She felt him stilled so she pushed him lightly to see his face.
She sweetly smiled at him as she saw his eyes forming tears saying how happy he is knowing that she feels the same way too.
"You're silly too." - she teased him which made them both laugh then, Champ suddenly cupped her face and brought it near to his and gave her a sweet passionate kiss. This time, they're both sober and they know what they're doing.
"Ouch!" - they stopped kissing each other when Jeva winced because of her aching foot.
"I'll bring you back to the house." - he said while the latter nods her head.
Champ positioned himself to carry her in bridal style but Jeva laughed at him because he couldn't. Champ hit his arm on the edge of the kayak when his wife pushed him off to the water.
He rolled his eyes at her and sat like a frog in front of her.
"What?" - he asked. "Tutunganga ka na lang ba dyan?" - he raised his brow at her.
She chuckled while shaking her before riding his back. Champ stood up, carrying her on his back.
He carefully made her sit on the bed the moment they reached their room in the beach house.
"Now, what are we gonna do with your sprained foot?" - he asked innocently.
Jeva playfully snorted of course, ano nga ba ang alam ng asawa niya maliban sa pag-acting at business? He even doesn't know how to fry hotdogs. Natawa si Jeva nang maalala niya ang itsura ng hotdog na niluto nito. Her husband was trying to cook breakfast for her but ended up burning the hotdog.
"What are you laughing at?" - his brows are creased while looking at her laughing at herself like someone not on their right mind.
Pftt! Jeva bit her lower suppressing herself not to laugh but failed. Her face became so red. Champ cupped her face again and gave her an aggressive torrid kiss.
"Aba! Hoy! Nakakarami ka na ah?!" - she pointed at him the moment they stopped kissing.
"Gusto mo naman." - he teased.
She blushed and looked away. "Hindi ah?"
"Really? Then, why are you responding to my kisses."
"K-kasi--- teka bakit ko sasagutin?" - she tsked and then she pointed the round single foam chair while Champ gave her a questioning look. "You told me what will we do with my sprained foot, right?" -he nods at her. "Then, give me that chair, I need to elevate my foot and get me some ice pack."
"Wow, makautos ano mo ako? Katulong?" - he mocked.
"Hindi. But you are my husband. It's your responsibility to take care of me." - she said while giving him a sly smile.
Champ smirked at her. "Easy." - mayabang na saad nito.
He left and got an ice pack for his wife. "Here." - he handed it to her. "I'll take a shower first. Don't move."
She pursed her lips and nods at her para kasi siyang makulit na bata na pinagsasabihan ng kanyang ina. Nang makaalis na ang lalaki ay kinamot niya ang kanyang ulo. Hindi kaya maging dry ang skin nito dahil palagi itong naliligo? Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Napailing na lang si Jeva.
She shrunk as the cold temperature touched her ankle. She took a look at her foot and she saw a small cut on the bony bump on her side ankle. She groaned and stood up. She is hopping using her one leg towards the side table to look if there's a band-aid.
She gulped. Kakaibang band-aid ang nakita niya. It's a box of condom. She rolled her eyes. "Hindi naman masarap kung may condom." - she told herself.
"I told you not to move, didn't I?" - she flinched when she heard her husband's cold warning tone.
"I, I just wanted to--" she gulped.
"To?"
"To look for a band-aid?" - Champ raised his brow at her.
"You're not sure, are you?" - the man smirked at her looking at her hand. Dali-dali niyang itinago ang bagay na hawak-hawak niya. "Band-aid pala ha?" - he teased her.
"Hoy!" - she threw the box of condoms for him. "Hindi akin yan no? Bakit may ganyan ka?! May paggagamitan ka ba niyan?! May ghad! Parang kailan lang noong sinabi mo sa akin na we should work this marriage. Tapos," - she kicked his leg without noticing he was hitting him with her injured one.
"Hey." - Champ grabbed her shoulder forcing her to look at him and trying to calm his wife.
"I hate you." - she murmured but enough for him to hear.
"No you don't." - he said proudly. "I wasn't using that, okay? That was from Juan." - Juan is one of manong Kabo's companies. "He gave me that. But, why the hell would I use that to you."
"Dapat lang hindi naman masarap kung may condom." - Champ burst out laughing because of what she said. "Hoy! Wag mo akong tawanan. Totoo naman ang sinabi ko." - she hit his arm.
Napailing naman habang tumawa si Champ and carried her like a bride and placed her on the bed. He kneeled on the floor and grabbed the cold compress and placed it on her ankle.
"Akala ko ba masakit ang braso mo?" - she asked.
He nods. "Yes, it is." - he looked at her face. "But, I can endure it for my regina." - with that, Jeva's face turned red like a tomato.
Jeva examined her husband carefully and worriedly treating her sprained foot. Oh! I love this man. She was smiling while looking at her when she noticed the necklace that he is wearing. He wasn't wearing anything on top, so she can clearly see it.
The pendant was a sun and the lace was antique style.
She reached her hand to touch the pendant. Champ was tranquilized. He may look calm but his inner self is shaking. He is nervous about how his wife will react with this one. Why does not keep wearing this necklace, by the way? This necklace was from his first love. It was the necklace he was talking about, the thing that his saviour left on him.
"Is--" - she swallowed hard. "Is this yours? Or someone else's?" - she bravely asked him.
"This..." - he looked away and uncontrollably touched the lace of the necklace. "This is from the girl I told you before.."
"Take it off." - she said coldly. Agad naman napatigtig ang lalaki sa kanya. Hindi niya mabasa ang expression ng babae and it's making him more uneasy. Pero agad din naman niya itong hinubad. He was about to put it in his pocket when she saw his wife's palm placed in front of him asking him to give her the necklace.
Champ was shaking but he obliged. Okay lang sa kanya kung ano ang gagawin ng asawa niya sa kwintas pero hindi okay sa kanya kung patuloy itong magagalit sa kanya.
Jeva immediately examined the necklace the moment Champ handed it to her. Champ's eyes widened when Jeva managed to open it sideways. The necklace was on his possession for how many years but he doesn't know that the thing could be opened.
"H-how?" - takang tanong ni Champ sa asawa.
"It was mine."
"What?!" - hindi mapakapaniwalang tanong ni Champ. Then Jeva gestured her hand so he could take a look on it. It's true. The necklace has her name. FULL NAME to be exact.
Champ stops breathing. He can't believe the big news that he received tonight. That the woman he is in love with right now is the same woman who he was in love with and was his saviour.
A tear fell from Champ's eyes. "I never thought that I'd fall in love with the same woman. After all these years I've been with my life benefactor." - he laughed while crying as he hugged his wife's waist and leaned his face on her lap. She was still sitting on the bed while Champ kneeled on the floor.
Both of them can't explain the exact feeling that they're feeling right now but they're sure that their love for each other is true.
"Magseselos na sana ako sa first love mo, ako din naman pala yun." - both of them laughed at what she said.
"Wait, I already told you about it but how did you not hint that it was you?" - takang tanong ng lalaki.
"I don't know. I forgot what happened that day because I helped a lot of people already..." - she stops when something enters her head. "You were eighteen that time, right?" - the latter nods.
"Why didn't you come back?" - Champ asked.
"I did. That's why I left you the necklace." - She suddenly remembered what exactly happened. That day... The day that Champ and his family got in an accident, was also the day that Kyza was sent to the hospital and her friend's nightmare started there.
"Why? What happened?" - Champ asked when he noticed his wife dumbfounded.
She gave him a sweet smile. "It's nothing. It's not my story to tell, though." - the latter nods 'cause he completely understands her. There are really things that were left unsaid. 'Cause there are things left confidential.
He stood up a little and placed his wife between him and gave her a kiss.
"Everything will be okay." - he said through his kisses while Jeva hummed in answer.
He pulled and cupped her face giving his wife soft little kisses all around her face which made the latter giggled.
He then again kisses her lips and she responds to his kisses immediately as she wrapped her arms around his nape.
She then, suddenly felt the bed on her back. No one is breaking the kiss. No one wants to let go of each others' lips. They savoured each others' taste.
Jeva gasped when his lips left hers and his kisses went down on neck, nipping and nibbling it. His hands were rubbing on her thigh sending heat and unexplainable sensation in her body.
Champ pushed himself on her giving her enough weight for her to feel his. Both of their bodies were on heat.
"Sigurado ka bang alam mo ang ginagawa mo?" - she teased him between her heavy breaths.
"What do you think I am? A kid?" - he tsked and the latter chuckled. Of course, he knew what he was doing. "What is the use of the porn sites, anyway?" - his answer made her laugh even more.
"You don't have to watch porn from now on. You can do your thing to me." - she seductively said.
"Argh! You're making me so hard." - he groaned.
"Am I?" - still seducing him as her hand went between his thighs. She gulped.
