Arron's POV
I've been wanting to talk to Daphne but she has done a good job trying to avoid me. I was walking out of my class since it was time for lunch. That's when I saw her. I walked up to her.
"Daphne we need to talk," I told her.
She just ignored me and tried walking around me. Of course that didn't stop me from grabbing her wrist.
"Please," I pleaded.
Right now I didn't care that I was basically pleading. I mean she has every right to be mad at me, but I just wanted her not to be.
"Let me go," she said, avoiding my gaze.
"No until you talk to me," I said.
She yanked her arm and sprinted outside. It broke my heart that she did that. I tried finding her but, she was fast for a human. I followed her scent and it lead to a bench.
She was sitting with another guy. No, with a vampire! They both leaned in and they kissed! They fucking kissed. I felt pain in my lower abdomen.
Your mate always felt pain if they kissed someone else that wasn't them. I fell to my knees as they stopped kissing and she turned to look at me. Instead of having an apologetic expression, she had a smirk plastered on her face. She kissed him again on the lips making me feel more pain.
I bent in pain. I was still on the ground with tears coming out of my eyes as they left hand in hand. What felt like hours later, Ben and Luke, found me still on the ground.
They ran over to me and asked, "Oh my moon goddess, what happened?!"
I wasn't sure if I should tell them but, decided I would since I knew I could trust them. I told them everything and they looked shocked. They just couldn't believe she had done that. And quite frankly, neither could I.
They helped me up and took me home. On the way I felt more angry than hurt. How could she do that to me?! How dare she?! I never did that to her! With a vampire! And here I thought she was my mate.
I tried to rest but couldn't with this anger inside me. I just couldn't get passed of what she did! And that's how I spent the rest of the afternoon.

Daphne's POV
I woke up in my bed with a horrible headache. I tried remembering what had happened yesterday but after I ran away from Arron, it all went blank. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't remember. It also increased my headache, making me wince.
I got up to take some Advil and a nice refreshing shower hoping it would help ease the pain. After I was done, I got dressed and looked at my phone. It was Wednesday?! Funnel cake, I'm late for school! It was already noon so I decided that I might as well not go. I decided to text Sydney to see if she knew anything that might have caused me to not remember most of yesterday.
She surprised me by saying that she hadn't gone to school today and was home. The only problem was that she was using periods after every sentence. Not good. I asked her if I could come over but, she said that that wouldn't be a good idea. I decided to go anyways to see what was up.
I got in my car and drove to Syd's house.

Once I got there, I knocked on the door and waited. The way here was so weird. I kept getting pains in my stomach. I heard footsteps coming to the door. Sydney opened the door and once she saw me, she looked mad. What?
"I told you that it wouldn't be a good idea to have come here," she said.
"Yeah but you've been acting weird and I wanted to see what's up," I told her.
"Me acting weird? No Daphne, it's you that's acting weird!" she half yelled at me.
"Why are you yelling at me? And I haven't been acting weird," I told her confused.
She scoffed and said, "You know what you did, so if would please leave."
"What? But what did I do?" I asked her hurt.
"Goodbye," she said closing the door.
Before she could though, I held out my hand, stopping her from closing the door.
"Can we please talk?" I asked her.
"No," she said, attempting to close the door again.
"Can I atleast talk to Arron then?" I asked her.
"You cannot especially talk to him!" she growled.
She scared me a bit once she growled but I still pleaded, "Please?"
I put on a sad face and I guess it worked since she gave out a sigh and mumbled a, "fine."
She opened the door wider so that I could go in and went up the stairs.
"He's in his office," she told me.
"Okay," I told her, already walking over to Arron's office.
As I was about to get to his office, I felt someone grab my shoulder. I shrieked but stopped once I saw it was only Ben and Luke.
"You scared me dummies," I said with one hand on my heart.
"Is it true?" asked Ben, ignoring my last comment.
"Is what true?" I asked him.
Why is everyone acting so weird today?
"Is it true what Arron said you did?" asked Luke.
They both had a hopeful look but I had no I idea what they were talking about.
"I don't understand," I told them.
They just stared at me.
"Look guys, I'm going to go talk to Arron," I told them, walking over to the door.
I knocked on the door but got no response. I got another wave of pain in my stomach. It was stronger than it had been before. I winced and ignored it.
I knew that he was in there since I could hear rustling, so I just opened it. Once inside, I saw him. He was kissing this blonde bimbo that was sitting on his lap. What the hell?!
I heard two gasps behind me. I knew that it was Luke and Ben.
"Arron what are you doing?!" I shouted at him, tears prickling in my eyes.
He stopped for a second, making eye contact with me and went back to kissing her. This time another wave of pain came making me fall to my knees. Luke and Ben cane next to me helping me stay upright.
"What are you doing?!" I shouted again through the pain.
They stopped kissing and the blonde bimbo smirked at me. He looked at me and laughed.
"What do you mean?" He asked innocently.
"Dude not cool," said Ben shaking his head.
Arron shrugged his shoulders and went back to kissing her. The pain was becoming unbearable so I got up as best as I could and ran. I heard footsteps behind me but I ignored them. I wasn't going to stop running until I was out of this house. I ran into the trees and stopped to catch my breath.
I sat on the ground and let the tears come out fully. I heard footsteps close to me. I turned and saw that it was Luke and Ben. They came over to me and hugged me.
I kept sobbing uncontrollably mumbling "why did he do it?" "I thought he loved me" how could he"
They let me cry and shushed me. I was really appreciative of them being with me right now. They kept saying soothing words and trying to calm me. After I had calmed, we got up.
"Come on, we'll drive you home," said Luke.
I just nodded and let them lead me to my car. Once we got to my house, they took me to the door and hugged me one last time.
"How are you guys going to get home?" I asked, my voice coming out hoarse from crying so much.
"Don't worry bout us, we're werewolves," said Ben with a wink.
I thanked them and they left. I went into the house to find my dad in the living room. He must have seen my tear streaked face that without another word, he came over and hugged me. I cried some more, glad to be in my dad's embrace. And that's how the rest of the day went.
