“So I can’t be friends with Rong anymore?” It saddened her to come to that conclusion.

“I think you can. After all, the bad blood is between the previous generation of the two families, and your family name isn’t Nan. However, there’s nothing you can do if the Rong family doubts you due to your relationship with me.”

The fact that he didn’t stop Ning Ran from remaining friends with Rong Rong made her quite happy.
