The rest of the week was spent well, Max felt like he properly belonged to Sam's family, as his mother accepted him very well. Jake and Max's friendship had gotten closer after Max finally opened up about his past, with his family and his girlfriend.

Jake had started treating Max more like a brother, wanting to be there for his friend that he cherished quite well. Although, he wasn't going to admit that ever.

Meanwhile Samuel seemed to be the most happy with the situation, he couldn't even be bothered to hide it, as he was constantly giggling and smiling around Max, who couldn't help but to adore the shy and cute antics of the other.

Elijah on the other hand seemed to disappear from the pairing for a few days, he turned back on Friday, not wanting to answer any questions from a worried Sam. "Hey, babe, I'm back now, don't worry about what happened."

"I understand you not wanting to talk about it, but it doesn't ease my worry I had for the past four days. Not being able to contact you was scary, I thought something bad had happened. I didn't want to go to your home in case you were wanting space and didn't know how to tell me." Sam explained, "I just- please don't ever disappear like that again. I understand if something is going on you don't want to talk about, just tell me. We are in a relationship, ya know? I ended up so in my head, I thought you were going to leave me. Max was able to calm me down, but still, I'm so scared to lose you." Sam explained, pouring out his heart to his lover.

Elijah didn't say anything, he just pulled Sam into a hug, holding him tightly. It wasn't so clear to Samuel that the words brought Eli to tears as he tried his best to not start sobbing in the middle of school yard. "I don't want to ever think of a world where I don't have you or Max in my life. You're not going to lose me, babe, I'm so sorry for worrying you and not telling you anything. It's been a rough week for me and I was just struggling to even get up this morning to come to school. I really needed you to see you and Max."

"I completely get it, I do, baby. It's hard to think about anything else when you're going through something, I hope that next time you'll be able to tell us something so we aren't losing our heads over the matter." Sam replied, running his fingers through Elijah's long locks, brushing his hair softly.

The pair stayed like that for a bit, before Elijah pulled away. He gave Sam a quick peck on the lips, "I do want to come over today, I'm still not ready to talk about what happened, I just really need some support."

"I understand baby, now come on, let's get this day over with. I think Max will be more than happy to do that for you." Sam smiled, leaning up and pressing a kiss to Eli's cheek.

Once the school day was over, Sam and Elijah had drove back home together. When they opened the door, they were greeted with screaming from Jake and Max, who were once again yelling at who made them lose.

"I would have had them if it wasn't for you blocking the screen with your fat ass, trying to see if Sam was back!" Jake yelled.

Max let out a loud sigh, "I had more kills than you. I practically carried us!" He replied, getting up and heading towards the kitchen.

Once he came into view of the pair all the two could say was.

"Holy."

"Mother."

Because there Max was, shirtless, his scars on full display, but this time it didn't check the pairs eyes. It was the large tattoo of snake with a dragger going through it, properly placed down the middle of the male's chest. It was still wrapped up and looked like it was fairly fresh.
