After the bell boy pointed us in the direction of a small shop located inside of the hotel we made our way there silently. Giovanni hadn't said much after I found him on the balcony he seem lost in his thoughts so without saying anything I just follow after him.

Upon entering the store there were only three customers inside, a man and most likely his spouse who were busy looking at souvenirs and a blonde woman who was busy taking to the only store clerk that is in here.

As soon as the store clerk saw us enter she stop talking to the woman and smile at us causing the woman to look at us as well.

"Good morning how can I help you?" She asks kindly. The blond woman was staring at me which made me feel uncomfortable then her eyes move to Giovanni giving him a knowing look.

I look at him to see his reaction, he quickly diverts his attention from the woman and smile at me. I was confuse so instead of returning his smile I look at the woman who was waiting for my reply.

"Hi. I need to buy a sunscreen—" I thought for a second what I could do to occupy my time when Giovanni went to meet his clients, quickly I add. "and swim wear."

The woman nods,"I'll go to the back to get some more sunscreen since I'm sold out of the ones we had up front." She points over to a section in the small store, "the swimsuits are over there see what you like and the changing room is to your left."

"Thank you." I told her and she smile before leaving. While I was having the  small conversation with the lady I couldn't help but notice how the blonde woman kept looking at Giovanni who seem uncomfortable as he keeps looking at the boring tiles in the floor. I assume it was to avoid the woman stare.

Ignoring the both of them I walk over to the swimsuit section after a few seconds I look up at Giovanni who had followed me over. "You didn't have to follow me you know. You could have waited over there."

He nod his head while his brown eyes stare into my soul. "And miss the chance of helping you pick out sexy swimsuits? No way."

I look behind him to the woman who was still at the front counter watching us with her prying blue eyes. "That woman gives me the creeps. She reminds me of that Annabelle doll."

Giovanni lets out a chuckle, "I'm sure she's harmless buttercup." He then reaches out and remove a two piece from the hanger. "I like this one."

It was a black bikini with the sides of the pantie entirely covered with mesh in a crisscross design and as for the top; the only part that wasn't covered in black shimmery mesh was the two cloth circle part that was made to cover the areola and nipples. I could see Evei buying something like this but there was no way I'd buy it to walk around practically naked in front of thirsty men.

I roll my eyes at him and grab it from his hands, "Are you kidding me, do you think I'm like Lindsay?"

He chuckles, "Who Lindsay Lohan? I know you're nothing like her buttercup, I just wanted to see you're reaction."

I narrow my eyes at him, wondering what he was even talking about. "Why would I be taking about Lindsay Lohan? I'm talking about Lindsay Schultz from work."

He nods with a sly expression. "You're not still jealous over that, are you sugarplum?"

I turn my back to him as I look mindlessly at a lime green two piece. "It's none of my business why would I be jealous?"

The designs were beautiful and less revealing. I then spotted a white one that had a gold chain attaching the bra to the panties right in the middle; they were both adjustable so there was no need to try them.

"So why did you feel the need to mention her?"

I turn to look at him, "Listen Mr. Haynes I am not interested in you personally but strictly professionally so I don't give a damn about who you screw around with or not."

I look away from him and march over to the counter where the blonde woman was still chatting up to the sales woman who had returned sometime during our conversation. The other two customers had already left which makes me wonder why she was still here just talking about only God knows what.

"I'll take these." I told the woman as I place the two swimsuits on the counter. I honestly didn't even feel like going anywhere with him right now.

Giovanni Haynes

I stood behind Ciara busying myself looking for my card in order to pay for her things and avoid the

eyes of  that woman from the bar last night who is constantly staring at us. I was hoping that she didn't say anything because I knew from I walk in here and saw her staring at us that she must have assume that Ciara is the nonexistent girlfriend I had mention last night.

"One hundred and ten Fiji dollars is you're total."

I snap out of my thoughts as I heard the saleswoman. I didn't know what I expected its not like I walked her into Alexander McQueen fashion house are Victoria secret. I felt like a cheap bastard.

"One hundred and ten, for this? That's what— fifty US dollars." Ciara says in a unbelievable tone; much to my surprise.

"Miss would you like a discount?" The store clerk ask.

Before she could reply I gave the woman my card, "That won't be necessary."

"No." All this time Ciara had been ignoring me though I had notice that she became tense when I first came to stand behind her. She turn to gaze up at me. "There's no need to pay for me."

I was about to answer when the blonde woman Lia are whatever her name is spoke, "Let him honey, it's the least he can do after kissing me last night when he knew he have you as his girlfriend, it was only after I taste those lips that he mention it."

I close my eyes in frustration. This is exactly why I explain to women that I am a no strings attached kind of guy, therefore if we should meet again they should ignore me like the plague.  I wasn't even the one who approach are came on to this woman and yet here she was trying to worm her way into my non-existent intimate relationship with Ciara.

"What?" I heard her say as I open my eyes. She was looking between the woman and I.

"Nicole!" The saleswoman scold, "Why would you say something like that?"

The woman Nicole shrugs looking at Ciara; who was busy glaring at me; with a smirk. "It's only the truth Caroline."

Without saying a word, Ciara storm off angrily. Quickly I took the bag and my card from the woman and hurry after her.

She didn't make it far and I manage to catch her in the elevator. She had been eagerly waiting for it to close when she saw me approaching but unluckily for her I had manage to make it in; closing us both in.

"Why would you tell her I'm you're girlfriend?" She ask with her arms fold, refusing to meet my eyes.

"Is that what you're mad about?" I say confused. I thought she was mad that Nicole kissed me.

"Yes! Why else would I be mad?" Now she was looking at me.

"I'm sorry but I never told her you were my girlfriend, she came onto me last night and wanted me to follow her to her room. I lied to her that I had a girlfriend and left her, so seeing us together she just assumed."

Never in my life did I have to explain myself to a woman not even the one that gave birth to me. I felt like a child who had done something disappointing.

"Why didn't you want to go with her? I mean besides the point that she looks like she could be my mom." She ask in a calmer tone. I quickly wipe away my small smile before she could notice. No matter what she says I know she's jealous.

"Why would I want to have intercourse with a woman twice my age when I have the most beautiful and stubborn woman in the same hotel suite as me?"

For the third time today her cheeks turn the shade of my favourite colour causing her to look away.

"I believe this belongs to you." I say handing her the small bag just as the elevator doors open.

"Thank you." She whispers before walking ahead.

I could not help but admire the way she look in those shorts and the lime green top she wore. She was sexy, beautiful and so much more. That bastard ex of hers clearly did not know what he had.

Ciara Mendes is a gem, her sister however is just like an ordinary stone.
