Fu Tingyu opened his mouth first. “Do you want to have a drink?”

Han Xiao pursed his lips and nodded.

Fu Tingyu said, “A friend I used to know. I happened to bump into him so I asked him out for a drink.”

“Then I’ll go too.” Qin Shu was afraid that the man would reminisce about the past and get himself drunk. If she went with him, she could persuade him to drink less.

“I’m drinking with my male friend. It’s not appropriate for a woman like you to go.” The man implied that it was not appropriate for her to go.

“I’m wearing men’s clothes. If you don’t tell him, he won’t know,” Qin Shu said unhappily.

Fu Tingyu raised his head and looked around. He realized that the banquet had already begun. “The banquet has begun. Let’s go out.”

“Okay.” Qin Shu remembered her official business. She would talk about going to the bar later.
