Jenna seemed quite affable. She was surely going to be one of my new best friends. Just another person to add to the group, I guess.
"So, this is the pack garden" Jenna said and gestured towards the secluded area filled with a wide variety of roses, tulips, daffodils, lilies, marigolds and few other flowers that I didn't know. There was a small fountain in the middle of the garden and all I could say is that it was very, very, very beautiful.
"Wow, you guys have a pack garden?!" Madds asked still in awe
"Yep" Jenna replied cheerfully
"It's almost as beautiful as you" Nate said out of the blue to Jenna and Jenna looked over to him
"Ew" she scrunched up her nose at him and I heard Parker chuckle
"One would only think girls like shit like that" Parker said shaking his head
"Some do and some don't. Let just say I'm in the don't category." Jenna explained with pursed lips
"Ok. Now I know what not to do" Nate said rubbing the back of his neck nervously
"Oh! While you're at it put talking on your what not to do list" Jenna said snarkily
"I'll be sure to do that" Nate said sarcastically and Scar rolled her eyes
"Nathan, stop being an asshole" Scar snapped and Nate kept his mouth shut
"That right listen to your sister" Meg grinned and high fived Scar.
"Shut up guys, can we let Jenna continue with the tour? Jeez!" I exclaimed and Jenna nodded satisfied
"Ok. Next, do you want to meet the Alpha and Luna?" Jenna asked innocently and Parker smirked when my eyes widened in alarm
"Of course! We would love to!" Parker said while I yelled
"NO NOT YET!"
"God! Just make up your damn mind people!" Jenna sighed and I glared at Parker
"We'll meet them later. Right?" I gritted out and gave Parker a expectant look
"I guess" Parker sighed defeated but then of course he had to continue
"But we want to meet them early in the morning tomorrow, please" Parker grinned and my friends stifled their laughter when my nostrils flared
"Of course. I'll ask them tonight" Jenna smiled and I fake a grin
"Great" I said overly sweet fakeness dripping in my voice
"Oh. I can't believe I didn't ask this before but what's your pack?" She asked curiously
"Silver blood" I said curtly
"Oh! For some reason the Alpha and Luna always keeps tabs on that pack. It's they have someone important there." Jenna said looking in deep thought. My eyes widened, I guess my parents are not so discreet.
"Uh, I'm sure it's nothing like that..." Meg said nervously trying to cover for me
"Yeah you're probably right" Jenna shrugged
"Sooo, I guess you guys are staying a while ?" Jenna asked eyeing our suitcases
"Yeah. We are" Hunter said awkwardly
"Great! Let me show you to the extra rooms!" Jenna exclaimed and we all watched as she started to walk away
"Well are you guys gonna come, or stand there all day?" Jenna said with a smirk when she turned around and saw that we weren't moving
"Oh. Right" Nate said and started picking up his bags. Soon, we all picked up our bags and started following Jenna into the pack house. So far she had shown us the garden, park, the bus stop, and the cemetery. I don't really know why we were shown those places but, I wasn't about to say anything. I stepped into the pack house only holding one bag because Parker claimed he could handle carrying the rest of my bags and his bags. I wasn't about to object to that either. I mean if he wants to do it, might as well.
My first reaction when I stepped in was....WOW! It was so old fashioned, and it was really hard to find old fashioned pack houses these days. You can see that everything was antique, from the paintings to the beautiful glass decorations that lined the table. There was a welcoming and warming fireplace in the living room area, and there were majestic wolves engraved in all the wooden furniture. The house was gigantic and very overwhelming. I loved it, I felt like it was calling my name and that I belonged here.
"Uh, Avery are you ok?" Madds asked concerned dragging me away from my thoughts
"Huh? Oh right. Uh, yeah I'm fine" I said shaking my head to clear my thoughts
"Ok...Well, if you follow me I'll show you guys you're rooms." Jenna drawled and we nodded
"Ok let's go" Scar shrugged and Jenna started up the elegant spiral wooden staircase. Jeez, there are so many flights. Dear God!
"Here's your floor" she finally said after we walked up about 5 minutes of stairs.
"Thank god" Hunter gasped for air
"Aren't you a werewolf?" Jenna rolled her eyes
"Yeah, but being a werewolf doesn't mean you're immune to being tired" Hunter replied
"Whatever" Jenna said and led us down a hallway. Wow, this hallway alone had about 10 rooms. Shit! I guess there are a lot of people in this pack. Jenna continued down the seemingly endless hallway until she stopped in front of a door.
"We've only got 3 spare rooms, soooo I don't know how you guys want to split up..." Jenna trailed
"WHAT! ONLY 3 ROOMS! I BELIEVE WE JUST PASSED LIKE 100 ROOMS!" Scar yelled
"Well, those are taken." Jenna shrugged nonchalantly
"Well, Scarlett and I are sharing a room" Hunter stated and Scar looked at him mouth agape
"WHAT! No, I'm not." Scar crossed her arms defiantly but Hunter seemed adamant.
"Yes, you are." He said sternly and Scar stomped her foot childishly
"No, I'm not" she said glaring
"Oh my god, what is that?" Hunter said suddenly but we all knew better than to fall for that trick. Unfortunately, Scar fell for it.
"What?" Scar asked as she looked towards the directed Hunter had pointed at. While she was looking away from Hunter, he grabbed her and threw her over his shoulder effortlessly. Wow, at least he's fit enough to do that.
"HUNTER LET ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!" Scar yelled pounding on his back
"Sorry, no can do" Hunter laughed and opened the door to one of the three extra rooms.
"Peace" Hunter grinned at us and shut the door isolating Scarlett and him away from us.
"Gross" Jenna grimaced. Well, I can see that she wasn't the lovey dovey type.
"It thought that was cute" Meg shrugged and Jenna gagged
"Ok, so what about the rest of you guys?" Jenna asked and I looked around. Hmmm, maybe I'll stick with Madds and Meg....
"Avery and I will take a room" Parker said suddenly and I looked up
"Excuse me. I don't think so" I snapped and he smirked
"Do I need to be like Hunter?" he asked me with raised eyebrows
"No" I gulped
"Good, so let's go" Parker clapped his hands
"Of course your majesty" I smiled sickly acting servile.
"Now, that's more like it" Parker grinned and I glared
"Shut the fuck up" I said harshly
"Wow, you guys have such a nice relationship" Meg said clapping slowly
"I know" Parker smiled widely and hugged me closer to him causing me to hit his hands away no matter how good they felt around me.
"I guess Meg and I will take the last room then" Madds said apathetic, shrugging.
"Hey! Where will I go?" Nate cried and I rolled my eyes
"Don't know. Dont care" Meg said laughing when Nate pouted
"Ugh! I have a blow up mattress in my room. You could sleep on it cause your not coming on my bed." Jenna said with pursed lips and Nate's entire face lit up.
"Really?!" Nate exclaimed
"Well, that's what I said didn't I?" Jenna rolled her eyes
"Don't get any ideas though" Jenna added and Nate nodded eagerly
"I promise I won't." He grinned
"Ok. Let's go to my room" Jenna said and started her way down the hallway with Nate following behind her.
"See you guys at dinner!" Jenna called out but she had already turned the corner
"Dinner?!" I yelled simultaneously with Parker, Meg and Madds. Dinner feels like its gonna be very....interesting. But most importantly is it going to be a good interesting or a bad interesting? I guess we'll find out shortly.
