Chapter 1027
The scent Vicky used to like the most felt unbearable to her now that it came from Tylerâs body.
She instinctively turned her head away to get away from the smell, and when Tyler saw her do this, his
eyes immediately darkened.
However, his voice remained indifferent as he said, âEven if she was to find out, she wonât care.â
Vicky did not know whether Aurora would care, but she really did not want her to find out. However, she
knew she had to take a softer approach to Tyler, so she softened her voice and said, âStay here for a
while. Wait until I send Aurora off on her way. You can leave then, okay?â
Tyler looked at her with those dark eyes of his. âWhy should I listen to you?â
âOh, so he wants to get something out of this,â thought Vicky.
She looked up. âWhat do I have to do for you to listen to me? rr
Vicky drew the line at being his secret lover. Out of the two evils, she would rather he walked out of the
room and let Aurora find out about what happened last night.
Tyler could tell what she was thinking. His long eyelashes fluttered for a moment and his eyes became
less cold.
âA kiss.â
Vicky tensed up. âA kiss?â
âYes. Iâm sure thatâs not too much to ask, not after what we did last night.â
He looked at Vicky as if he wished he could do what he did to her last night again.
âOr do you wish for something more than a kiss?â
Tylerâs tall and imposing figure moved closer to hers, making her feel a sense of oppression. He was
so close to her that she would not even have the time to shout for Aurora if he was to take her there
and then.
A few seconds later, Vicky finally gave in. She stood on her toes and kissed Tyler lightly on the cheek.
âI want a proper kiss, not a peck on the cheek. Vicky Shaw, do you not know what a kiss is?â Tyler
asked coldly.
He had already made it very clear to her what he wanted, so Vicky had no choice but to close her eyes
and kiss him on the lips.
In order to not give him something to gripe about, she kissed him hard and deeply, as though they were
a pair of long-lost lovers. After a while, Tyler did not seem to be happy with her technique, so he
grabbed her head from behind and showed her how it was done.
After having her lunch, Vicky came up with the excuse of wanting to go shopping to steer Aurora out of
the door. As soon as Aurora heard that Vicky wanted to go shopping, she decided to follow along
without even having to think about it.
While they were shopping, Vicky could not hold it in anymore and asked the question that had been
gnawing at her heart.
âMiss Starling, howâs your relationship with Tyler so far?â
Aurora frowned. âWhy are you calling me Miss Starling again? Didnât I ask you to call me Aurora last
night?â
Vicky looked at her in shock. âYou remembered what happened last night?â
âI was still a little sober when you came, but I donât remember anything after that since I completely
blacked out.
Aurora looked quizzically at Vicky. âDid something happen when you brought me home last night?â
Vicky lowered her eyes. âNo, nothing happened. I just wanted to ask why you called me instead of your
fiance.â
Aurora shook her head. âWell, he was busy. I did call him, but he didnât pick up the phone. Then I
thought of you and remembered that you didnât seem like you were in a good mood as well. That was
why I called.â
After a pause, she asked, âHow are things with you and your fiance?â
Vicky fell silent for a few seconds before answering, âHe said heâll cut off contact with that woman.â
Aurora was not surprised to hear that. She simply nodded.
âIf thatâs the case⦠it is for the best.â
Vicky looked at Aurora. âDo you think⦠I should break up with him?â
