She used to feel sorrow, guilt, and even hope for Tyler in the past, but when she thought they could

start anew, he heartlessly casted her aside.

Although she had not completely let go of the situation just yet, she no longer held any expectations or

dreamt unrealistic fantasies about him.

The look in Vicky’s eyes was familiar – it was reminiscent of their heartless breakup years ago.

A glint of coldness flickered in Tyler’s eyes as he strode towards her menacingly.

The rain outside intensified, with the drops hitting the transparent glass created a dull thudding sound.

The already dim room felt even dark as he approached. This caused Vicky to instinctively take a few

steps back.

It suddenly occurred to her that Aurora was still in the guest room and if Aurora came outside to find

Tyler here, Vicky would not be able to explain herself well.

On top of everything, Tyler had been provoked and was capable of doing anything, so Vicky could not

help but panic.

Seeing her retreat, his thin lips curved into a chilling arc.” What, now you’re scared?” He towered over

her, looking down on her as if he were a god high above, disdainfully regarding her as a puny insect.

“Vicky, only I get to decide when it ends. As long as I haven’t had my fill, you will never be able to get

rid of me.”

Tyler’s voice sounded distant and cold, as if it was like a whisper from the underworld.

Vicky’s blood ran cold, and she gritted her teeth. “Listen, I’ve repaid what I owed you. You have no right

to treat me like this!”

At that moment, Tyler had already reached Vicky’s side, his tall figure engulfing her. He grabbed her

With that, he lowered his head to kiss her.

Vicky was already on the verge of a breakdown at this point, knowing that what Tyler said was nothing

Anger surged within Vicky, and she fiercely bit down.

The taste of blood spilled, and that took Tyler by surprise. He did not expect Vicky’s ferocity to cause

him a wound.

Tyler furrowed his brows.

Taking advantage of his distraction, Vicky quickly distanced herself from him.

Tyler gently wiped his thin lips as his finger slowly stained with crimson blood.

“Do you think you can hide?” Tyler’s gaze grew even darker and more sinister, as if he were the ruler of

life and death, cruelly pronouncing her death sentence. “Where can you hide? You can’t even leave

Stoneford City without my permission, let alone this place.”

As he spoke, he closed in on her once again.

Vicky backed away.

Aurora’s presence in the house and Tyler’s sudden appearance had pushed her over to the edge,

causing her to tremble in place. “Tyler, stay away from me. If you dare to get any closer…”

“What are you going to do about it?” His thin lips curled into a smirk as he ignored her warning and

continued his advances.

Before she knew it, she backed into the kitchen, and pulled one of the kitchen knives out abruptly.

“Tyler Hart! Get any closer and I will make you regret it!”

Tyler paused for a split moment, before sneering. “I look forward to seeing how you are going to make

me regret this.”
