people? I mean, out of all the women he could have chosen, why did he have to pick Tyler Hart’s

woman to put on an act with?”

Elijah protested, “At that time, Vicky said she was already divorced… and I was just asking her to help

friendly smile. “Vicky, what brought you here?”

Vicky studied the kind look on Old Madam Harrisons’ face and felt out of place.

It was no wonder that the Harrisons had been so kind to her that it barely felt real. It was not until this

moment that she realized everything had been an act.

Vicky remained standing in place for a while before walking over.
