After a pause, he added, “Lincoln never expected Tyler would make such a good recovery, so his plan

of using this kick up a scandal fell through. I’ll even say Lincoln’s life at home will be very difficult from

now on, now that Old Mister Hart and Avery are both helping Tyler.”

Vicky knew Chris was telling her the truth.
