"You b*tch! You did this, didn't you?!" Avery rushed to one of the guests and slapped her face.
The young woman, who was sitting next to her parents, was shocked by the sudden slap. "What are
you talking about, Avery?! I don't understand...â
"Drop the act, Brielle! I know it was you!" said Avery through gritted teeth. âAnd don't think I don't know
you were the one who set me up to sleep with another man while I was drunk!"
Brielle held her reddened cheeks and said calmly, "Avery, you shouldn't point your finger at others
when you don't have the proof.â She then looked at Tyler, who had been silent from the beginning.
"After all, Tyler is watching the whole thing.â

The wedding could not possibly continue when something like that happened.
âYes, Mister Tyler,â said Adam. He quickly walked out of the main hall.
"Tyler, let me explain. IIâ" began Avery anxiously.
"We'll talk about this later," interrupted Tyler indifferently.
Avery immediately shut up as she realized everyone was looking at her. Managing to regain her wits,
she gritted her teeth and said nothing else.
The attendants were about to usher the guests out when someone said nonchalantly, "Mister Vernon,
don't you think your family owes us an explanation for this sham of a wedding?"
It was Lincoln who had spoken.
Vicky had not seen him for a few years. His temperament was more mellowed than before, making him
almost harmless. However, she knew he was dangerous.
Vernon and Alana were about to make a hasty retreat, but Lincoln's words brought all the guestsâ
attention back to them. It was obvious he was hellbent on making the whole thing as humiliating as he
could for them.
âThis is obviously a set-up to hurt our family. We'll give everyone an explanation once we've found the
culprit,â said Vernon sombrely.
Lincoln sighed softly. "Tyler is the future successor of our family. How do you expect him to ever show
his face around other people again when this kind of thing happened during his own wedding?â
It might look like he was being protective of Tyler, but he was actually trying to fan the flames.
"It's bad enough that Avery was fooling around with another man behind Tyler's back, but the fact that it
was broadcasted to everyone here just makes it even worse. If Tyler decides to continue on with the
wedding, he'll be a laughingstock for his entire life,â added Lincoln.
Vernon knew what Lincoln was hinting at, so he asked, "So what you're trying to say is you want to call
off the wedding?â
Lincoln smiled. "Mister Vernon, let me ask you something. Would you be able to accept it if your wife's
s*x video is leaked out for everyone to watch? Don't forget, Tyler is going to be head of the Hart family
someday...â His gaze moved to Avery. âNo one will ever take our family seriously anymore if he marries
Miss Avery.â
"My family helped you and Tyler gain a firm foothold in your family, and now that we don't have any
