Chapter 1560
Vickyâs eyes widened, and she swiftly lifted her head.
A handsome and refined face came into her view, and she instantly paled. Memories of past humiliation
flooded her mind.
She took several steps back, not wanting to look at Tyler, and turned to leave. Alas, he caught her
wrist.
âPlaying hard to get again?â Tyler mused, his voice deep.
As he spoke, Tyler deliberately lowered his head, his lips grazing her earlobe to plant a gentle kiss.
Vicky tensed, and she reflexively pushed him away. However, he did not budge and effortlessly pinned
her against the wall instead.
Her voice trembled as Vicky said, âTyler Hart, have you lost your mind?!â
Tyler lowered his gaze and met her eyes, raising his brow as he did. âWhen you led me into bed, you
didnât seem this afraid. Whatâs different today?â
Vicky had not anticipated that Tyler would dare to make such a move in public, and her heart raced
with anxiety. She placed her hands on his chest in the vain hope that this would deter him from coming
any closer. âTyler Hart, we agreed last time that we wouldnât meet again, and we definitely wonât have
any further involvement.â
âOh?â Tylerâs dark eyes deepened. âWhen was that?â
âThat morning.â Vicky gritted her teeth. âYou even gave me a check. Donât you remember?â
Tyler pondered for a few seconds, then nodded. âI suppose that happened.â Before Vicky could say
more, Tyler redirected the conversation. âBut do you truly believe youâre worth fifteen million for just one
night with me?â
âFifteen million?â Vicky was taken aback. âYou wrote me a fifteen-million dollar check?â
âIâm starting to get bored of your innocent act.â
Later, after returning home, Vicky realized she had torn up that check without even examining it
properly.
Tyler lowered his head further and muttered, âI gave you a month, but you didnât return the check, so I
assume you accepted our agreement.â
âAgreement?â She frowned. âWhat agreement?â
âEven a virgin isnât worth fifteen million for a single night. Your pretense is disgusting.â He stared down
at her, a touch of sarcasm emerging in his eyes. âI liked your service and decided to keep you as a
lover for a while.â
âDream on.â Her expression darkened. âI wonât agree to it.â
âI donât see you turning it down.â
She looked him in the eye. âIâve torn that check into pieces. If you have doubts, go ahead and check if
Iâve cashed it out.â âAnd Iâm supposed to just take your word for it? What if you cash it out after I
leave?â
