Chapter 180
Before Vicky could answer, Maggie butted in, unable to stand idle, âShe certainly wonât admit it if you
ask her. She-â
âYes, I did say those things,â interjected Vicky curtly.
Adam, the man who stopped Vicky from walking toward the operating room, asked, âWhy did you say
those things to Miss Young? Do you know how much trouble you caused for Mister Hart because of
what you said?â
Although the others did not say anything, the ways they looked at her were showing dissatisfaction with
her too.
âWhy?â Vicky looked at Adam and said coldly, âBecause Iâm Tylerâs wife, and I donât want to see my
husband being busy because of another woman! II
Maggie interrupted, âSheila was hurt because of Mister Hart. Isnât it normal for Mister Hart to care for
her? Since you self-claimed to be Mister Hartâs wife, you should understand his difficulties!â
Self-claimed to be Mister Hartâs wife⦠What an interesting, meaningful sentence!
Vicky glared at Maggie coldly. âTell me then, Miss Chance. Why does Sheila ask for Tyler and not the
doctor every time she has a fever when Tyler isnât a doctor?â
Adam sneered. âSo thatâs the reason why you put Mister Hart in a bad position. You were jealous?â
Vicky turned and glared at Adam. âIâm not Tylerâs enemy, and Iâm not the one who kidnapped Miss
Young. Are you trying to gloss over how incompetent you guys are by putting all the blame on me?â
Adam clenched his fists tightly when he realized Vicky did not realize her error. âBut youâre the one who
warned Miss Young from contacting Mister Hart, and you repeatedly called Mister Hart when he was
hiding! Donât tell me you think youâre innocent!â
âI am innocent.â Vicky smiled faintly. âI canât predict the future, and I donât know what you guys are
doing. The things I said arenât any orders that everyone will listen to. On normal days, she can call
Tyler because sheâs feeling uncomfortable. Can you blame me for calling Tyler when I was in life -
threatening danger?â
Maggie barked, âVicky Shaw! If you didnât come to the hospital to warn Sheila in the morning, Sheila
wouldnât have-â
âSo it seems Miss Young will listen and do everything I said,â scoffed Vicky. âIf thatâs the case, can you
please get the hell out of here? I donât want to see you anymore, and please donât show yourself to
Tyler anymore, too.â
Vicky looked at Sheila and said, âMiss Young, you may go.â
The irate Adam was already at his edge. When he heard what Vicky said, he erupted, âYouâre too
much, Vicky Shaw!â
Vicky looked at Adam. âExcuse me, but who are you, and on what grounds do you have the right to
speak to me about that?â
Adam looked at Vicky, and he wanted nothing more than to kill her at that moment. He heard that ever
since Vicky lost her memory, her temper had gotten better, and it was easier to get along with her.
From the looks of it, however, Vicky did not change at all. She never changed!
She was still arrogant and proud, and she did not care about other people before and after she lost her
memory.
Adam wanted to say more, but Harry stopped him. âAdam, sheâs Mister Hartâs wife. Youâre just Mister
Hartâs assistant. Donât be rude.â
Adam was infuriated. âLook at her! She thinks sheâs innocent! If she didnât keep calling, Mister Hart
wouldâve never been shot!â
Vickyâs voice was cold like ice as she sneered, âDidnât Tyler get shot because he was rescuing Miss
Young, who got kidnapped? He didnât rescue me, so what does that have to do with me?â
Adamâs eyes widened at this. Vicky was unreasonable!
âHarry, look at her! She thinks-â
