Chapter 310
Vicky made up things about Tyler so that she could satisfy the man before her, but she was starting to
feel exhausted from lying toward the end.
âSir, donât you think itâs a legitimate reason for me to get a divorce?â
The man narrowed his eyes darkly under the dim light and said, âI suppose a man who canât satisfy his
own wife is hardly a man at all.â
Vicky looked at him hopefully. âSoâ¦â
âIf thatâs the case, I can believe what you said. I am capable of getting you out of here.â
Vicky sighed a breath of relief; her clothes were drenched with sweat at this point.
âHoweverâ¦â The man kept his eyes on her. âIâm not particularly interested in charity work, so donât you
think that you need to show me how sincere you are about this deal?â
âSincere?â She shot him a confused look. âWhat do you mean?â
The man continued to stare at her in the most invasive manner.
âMiss Shaw, you are young and beautiful. Itâs a shame that you have a husband who canât satisfy you.
You must have felt empty all along. To be honest, I only spent all that
money on you because Iâm interested in you.â
Vicky froze as she began to understand what he meant to say, and her lashes trembled ever so slightly
in response to his words. âFor someone of your status, you can have any woman you want. IâIâm
Tylerâs wife, after all. If he finds out about thisâ¦someone with a sick mindset like hisâ¦might seek
revenge on youâ¦â
The man did not waver. âSo long as we donât say anything about it, how would he know?â
âHe is really sensitive and Iâm not good at lying, so Iâm worried that I wonât be able to hide it from himâ¦â
âYouâre not good at lying, you say?â The man glanced at her pointedly. âWhy do I feel like youâre
exceptionally good at it?â
âTo tell you the truthâ¦I have my issues.â
Vicky decided to go to lengths to obtain any chance of escaping and said, âI am extremely boring in
bed.â
âI donât mind,â the man said. âI like a challenge.â
âSir, I-â
Vicky was about to argue when the man interrupted her,â Miss Shaw, you donât seem to understand the
situation you are in.â He looked into her eyes and drawled, âFirst of all, youâre in no position to negotiate
with me.â
Her heart sank.
âSecondly, even if I donât touch you, someone else will seven days from now. Why do you think they
brought you
here?â He studied the pale look on her face and chuckled. âIf you want out, I can help, but itâs going to
be a trade-off. I donât enjoy forcing myself on women, and if you donât want this, itâs fine by me. Forever
Night offers a full refund for commodities that are âunsatisfactoryâ. Howeverâ¦â
He paused and continued, âThe guests are still around, so youâd simply be auctioned off to the next
bidder.â
With that, the man started to walk toward the door, seemingly intending to leave.
Vicky started to panic as he walked away, but every cell within her was appalled by the idea of selling
her body for a chance to escape.
