âSelene!â Gloria hurried over to help Selene up. âSelene, are you okay?â

during the fall.

After Vicky had burned her arm, Gloria was furious but did not press any charges against Vicky as her
hands were alright.

Vicky was never a fierce woman, but what Selene had done provoked her.
She turned to face Gloria and said, âGloria, everyone can act righteous. All those things you said about
coming at you if I have a problem, and that I shouldnât hurt someone innocent⦠Why donât you find out
about what your best friend did before saying those things again?â
Vicky looked away and turned to leave, only to be grabbed by the wrist.
