Chapter 610
âI know,â said Tyler calmly. âDonât worry. Iâll handle it.â
When Vicky noticed that he did not regret his action at all, she gritted her teeth in frustration. âYou know
that I only made that request so that youâd give up. Tyler, weâve broken up. Donât cling onto me again.â
He paled and grabbed her by the wrist. âWhy are you breaking up with me all of a sudden? We were
doing great-â
She interrupted him. âWere we? Are you sure?â
He narrowed his eyes and realized that Vicky had been depressed recently, but whenever he would
ask her about it, she would refuse to talk.
âIf itâs because I mistook you for Gloria at the beginning, I told youâ¦thatâs not a problem.â
She remained quiet for a moment. âThat was just an excuse.â
âWhy is it that you insist on breaking up, Vicky?â
âI told you that I donât love you anymore.â
âI donât believe you.â He stared into her eyes and said, âYou still respond to my kisses. This canât be
because you donât love me anymore.â
She smiled mockingly. âThere are plenty of people who kiss and sleep together, only to go their
separate ways the next day. Would you call that love? If I go and kiss Noah, are you going to leave me
alone from now on?â
A malicious look appeared in Tylerâs eyes. âYou can try if you want him to die.â
Vickyâs blood ran cold at the thought of how ruthless he was earlier. She clenched her fists and turned
her back against him. âTyler, weâve broken up. Donât come looking for me again.â
She did not enter the restaurant and walked in another direction.
He held her from behind tightly. âDonât go,â he said hoarsely. âIâm sorry. I shouldnât have hurt someone.â
She closed her eyes and trembled as her tears wet her lashes. âTylerâ¦â
Before she could say anything, he kissed her, swallowing all the words rolling on her tongue because
he did not wish to hear all the heart wrenching words, she was about to say.
Sometime later, he let her go, and Vicky studied his face. âTyler, do you have to persist?â
âI donât want to break up.â
âEven if Iâm seeing someone else at the same time?â
He pursed his lips in silence and thought, âHow can I not mind? Iâm on the brink of being driven to
insanity by jealousy!â
Vicky could tell what he was thinking and smiled. âAlright, then. I can give you another chance. From
now on, whenever Iâm with Noah, you canât come to bother us or appear before us. If you canât do that,
then itâs overâ¦â
âOkay,â he blurted out.
Her tears were threatening to fall, so she turned around and said, âIâm going to check on Noah.â
Tyler instinctively wanted to go after her, and she stopped. âHave you already forgotten about your
promise?â
He stilled and stood frozen in place as he watched Vicky disappear into the restaurant.
