Tyler looked away to avoid looking into her eyes.

Vicky gave it a thought and nodded slightly. âAlright.â
Tyler heard their conversation and peeked at Vicky.
Doctor Charlie nodded in satisfaction. âMiss Shaw, please take care of him for the next few days.â

Vicky looked back at Tyler. âI need to go home for a bit to bring some daily necessities over. Oh, do you
want me to grab your things or buy you new ones?â
Tyler looked at her in disbelief. âAre you seriously going to stay here just to take care of me?â
âDo you think Iâm lying to Doctor Charlie?â
Tyler did not answer, but his expression expressed his thoughts.
Vicky was so angry that she could only chuckle wordlessly.â If youâre not going to answer me, Iâll buy a
new set for you.â
She was ready to leave, but Tyler hoarsely piped up before she could.
âWhy?â
Vicky looked back. âWhy what?â
Tyler gazed at her with a set of curious-looking eyes, confused as he was.
âYou donât want money, but why do you want to take care of me? Why are you treating me so well?â
He transferred another hefty amount of money to her the last time, many times more than the amount
he gave her before, yet she returned everything to him.

She gazed into his deep and dark eyes. âThereâs a reason why I want to take care of you, so Iâm not
really treating you so well. Only when you donât ask for anything in return or treat someone without a
reason is called treating you well. I know everyone has a different mindset, but if you have a
