Chapter 926

Tyler scoffed and said, “Why should I answer you that?” “Tyler, do you know all the things you’ve done

recently have crossed the line?”

“All the things I’ve done recently?” Something flashed across Tyler’s eyes. “What did I do?”

“Just how many women have you been with during this period?”

“How can I be in the wrong when those women willingly throw themselves at me?” asked Tyler coldly.

“Harvey, you must know what that’s like since I’m sure many women willingly throw themselves at you,

too.”

Harvey scoffed and said, “Don’t tell me you did nothing more than that with the women who did that to

you. From what I’ve heard, those powerful people who wanted to curry favors from you also sent you

some women which you didn’t refuse.”

Tyler raised an eyebrow. “What? Don’t tell me you’ve never accepted those kinds of women before.”

It was a given that turning down a woman from ‘friends’ in business was as good as giving them a

snub. All that mattered in a man’s world were money, power, and beautiful women. Therefore, Harvey

had been gifted women before but he usually turned them down since he was not interested in this kind

of woman.

However, the ‘friends’ in business who sent him the women did not accept his refusal. They just

thought that he did not like the types of women they sent him, so the next time, they would send a new

type of woman to him.

This annoyed Harvey to no end, so he would sometimes grudgingly accept a woman just so those

‘friends’ in business would stop sending the women over. However, he never touched the woman he

accepted since he saw them as nothing but a cover for him.

“That’s different. You’re already married, so you can only turn down the women even if it’s going to

cause you trouble later,” said Harvey coldly.

“Well, I never heard that rule before,” said Tyler with a smile.

“Tyler, aren’t you afraid that Vicky will be sad if she finds out about this?”

“You not wanting her to be sad is all the more reason you should just keep your mouth shut.”

Harvey’s eyes darkened when he saw how nonchalant Tyler behaved.

“I won’t tell her about what happened recently, but don’t blame me for taking her away from you if you

do anything to make her sad again.”

“Are you going to advise her to get a divorce from me, or are you going to publicly abduct her?” Tyler

raised his eyes to look at him. “Harvey Sparks, as long as I don’t agree to the divorce, Vicky will be

forever married to me, and she’ll never be yours.”

Harvey frowned. He was about to say something when the door swung open.

“So when you said you want to start over with me again, I should take it to mean that you’d be drinking

in clubs all the time and leaving me all alone in the house?”

Harvey’s head snapped as he turned, and the look in his eyes changed when he saw Vicky standing by

the door.

“Vicky, what are you doing here?”

“I came here to see for myself what’s all the fuss about the legendary auction, of course. I couldn’t help

but wonder who it was that spent a record-breaking a-million-five-hundred- thousand dollars on one

auction.”

Her eyes never once left Tyler, even when she answered Harvey’s questions.

Tyler’s eyes darkened momentarily, and they quickly returned to calm. His eyes were like a cold spring-

distant and composed. He stared back at her, unblinkingly and silently.

Harvey walked over to stand beside Vicky, but just when he was about to say something, Vicky stopped

him with a raise of her hand.

She looked deeply into Tyler’s eyes and asked, “Tyler, don’t you have anything you want to say to me?”

Tyler’s eyes flashed, but after a few seconds of silence, he finally said, “Harvey, would you mind

stepping out for a moment?”

Harvey frowned and was about to say he wanted to stay in the room when Vicky beat him to it.

“Harvey, please do as he says since this matter is only between me and him.”

Harvey took one look at her before leaving the room and closing the door tightly behind me. After he

left, the tension in the room became so thick that one could cut it with a knife.
