Benny has been staying over more frequently at Randy's. The day Benny was sick he felt like Randy's was a safe haven just like his mother's home. All through the night Randy held Benny in bed while they slept.
Randy opened his eyes to see Benny still asleep next to him. Admiring his sleeping face Randy memorized his calm features. A few freckles were scattered across his face. Randy wanted to kiss each one individually to give them the attention they deserved. "Lucky freckles you get to live on his soft skin" Randy whispered.
Randy's eyes glanced down at his lips that were soft to touch. Using his free hand he played with a few strands of his curly hair. "Ben Ben" Randy whispered. Softly rubbing his back while he slept. Ben soon opened his eyes to see Randy. "Hi Benny" Randy said.
Randy's morning voice made Benny blush. His eyes crinkled as he smiled. "You love my morning voice don't you Ben Ben" Randy said. Benny nodded he couldn't even look at Randy in the eyes or he'll explode with happiness.
Since it was a Saturday the bakery was closed on Saturday and Sunday. The two didn't have to rush around they could just enjoy each other. Randy found a theater that was accommodating for Benny. They were going to see a movie, a movie that Benny was unfamiliar with.
"Ben, we need to get dressed there's somewhere we need to be" Randy said. Randy was soon out of the bed finding clothes to wear. Benny meanwhile was still wrapped in the blankets. Randy grew worried he reached for his forehead when Benny pulled him back in bed.
"No, we're going to be late Benny" Randy said.
Benny kissed Randy ever so sweetly holding one side of his face. Didn't take long for Randy to kiss him back. "We really need to get dressed" Randy said. Pulling back Benny frowned, he didn't want to let go of Randy.
Benny then got out of the warm bed and started to put on new clothes. Picking up his tablet Benny typed in mean Randy before throwing a shirt on. The robot voice was soon heard in the room. "I'm the mean one for not letting you stay in bed all day" Randy said. Benny nodded, Randy's shirtless torso was in Bennys view.
"It's bad for you to stay in bed all day Ben" Randy said. Benny shook his head before leaving the room. Randy held Bennys face. "Yes it is no matter how hard you fight me on this it's not good for you" Randy said. Benny kissed Randy's lips before tugging on his jacket. "Come on we're going to be late" Randy said.
Arriving at the theater Benny recognized the building. His moms took him here constantly for movie nights. The movie they were seeing is elemental. A new Pixar movie that came out during the summer. Randy showed Ben the trailer a few times a week to get him interested.
Ben was interested in the movie by the second viewing of the trailer. "Would you like a snack for the movie Ben" Randy asked. Ben opened his ninja turtle backpack to get a safe snack. Randy chuckled before zipping his bag up. "Hey don't get that all the way out, Ben they'll take it away" Randy said.
Randy and Benny went hand and hand into their assigned theater. "Have you ever been here Ben" Randy asked. Ben nodded knowing this place all too well. Randy noticed Ben covered his ears as he entered the theater. He would look around to see if it was a safe space. "It's ok Ben" Randy said.
Ben grabbed his hand his anxiety was a little high. Randy kissed Ben's hand calming him down. Soon the movie started. More people came into the theater but sat away from them. The colors were intriguing to the twenty year old. Blues, reds and greens scattered throughout the movie.
Randy thought the animation was a bit under done. But each time he caught a glimpse of Ben he saw a smile. As long as Benny was enjoying the movie so was Randy. Ben's happiness meant so much to him.
The movie finally ended, Ben took Randy's hand as they walked out to the car. Snow began to fall in the cold air. Randy's phone rang it was his mother. She's been asking him if he'd come home for Christmas. He still hasn't given her an answer. Randy didn't feel the need to return back home for Christmas. He didn't want Benny to be sad during Christmas. Leaving the theater Randy took Ben out for dinner at a familiar restaurant. Olivia wanted Ben to spend the night at home. Randy didn't know how Ben would handle a night without
Randy ordered food for both himself and Ben, having the safe food list in mind Ben was able to eat his entire meal. After the meal they passed an arcade, Ben opened his bag to get his headphones. Ben's never been to the local arcade near the bakery. Each time they passed it the lights were turned off, until this moment. Ben had his headphones on he grabbed Randy's wrist and ran inside. Ben immediately went towards a Pac-Man game, he recognized the game from Layla being obsessed with it. "We need quarters first Ben then we play" Randy said. Randy and Ben went over to the coin machine to collect their quarters. Randy sacrificed a fifty, did he feel a little sad about it, Yes. But it's Ben's happiness that mattered.
Ben knew how to play pac man, thanks to Layla. Randy watched as he played the retro game. Ben then flipped the game over to Randy by surprise. "Hey Ben! You have to finish your game" Randy said. Randy took ahold of the console and continued playing Ben's turn.
Ben on the other hand ventured off to a space invaders console. Another game Layla introduced Ben to, Layla was a huge nerd that's why Olivia loved her.
