Montgomery. Montgomery. Ben repeated the last name in his head. He was in need to see his moms. The trust for him was slim to none. The minute Corey pulled into the hospital parking lot, Ben bolted from the car.
Ben typed up a message for the nurse at the front desk. I'm here to see Layla and Olivia I'm their son. "Room twenty three on the left" Susan said. Ben ventured down the hallway towards his mom's room. Police officers were outside the hospital room. The name Montgomery was thrown around.
"Randy wouldn't have anything to do with this..." Olivia said. Ben pushed open the door, tear stains from sobbing became sticky on his cheeks. "Randy Montgomery was arrested tonight for burning down the bakery" Jenson said. Benny shook his head, he didn't want to hear that coming from a stranger.

Ben couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Ta-ke m-e to h-im" Ben said. Jenson looked at Olivia and Layla, the pixie spoke "Don't you hear my son speaking to you Jenson. Turn around and look at him while he's speaking to you" Olivia said. Jenson grew up with Olivia, he knew not to disrespect her.
Jenson turned towards Ben, "Ta-ke me to h-im" Ben said. Jenson looked up again at Olivia. "You better listen to him Jenny" Olivia said. Jenson drove to the police station with Ben in the passenger seat. Ben followed Jenson inside to the holding area. There sat Randy, Ben could point him out in a crowd of thousands.

The twenty four year old turned his head. A small smile crept across his lips. Bens eyes began to water, he was sorry for being a terrible lover. Jenson brought Randy over to Ben.
"Please don't cry Benny Button" Randy said. Ben sniffled as Randy hugged him close. "I'm so-rry" Ben said. Randy whispered in Bens ear, "My father did this". Bens eyes went wide, he looked towards Jenson.
"Name" Ben said. "George Montgomery" Randy said. Jenson wrote down the name of Randy's father. He soon took the handcuffs off of the twenty four year olds wrists. "Tell me more about your father and why he did this" Jenson said.
Ben took Randy's hand as they sat in a room for questioning. Written on a notepad was Randys father's name. Along with his date of birth. "My dad hates me for being gay, I came out to my Christian church. He was also a reverend, when I came out he sent me away to conversion camps. I escaped from one here in Denver because I didn't want to change who I was. The moment I saw Ben I knew I couldn't go back
A week ago he called me asking to come home. I refused because I couldn't find it in myself to go back to a home of hatred"
"Has he done any other vile things" Jenson said. Randy nodded, his dad caught him in bed with a classmate. The next day word came out that the boy committed suicide.
"Who was this boys name" Jenson asked.
"Sam Ericson" Randy said. Jenson wrote down his name. "How old was Sam" Jenson asked. "He was sixteen, I was also sixteen, he was already out of the closet at the time" Randy said.
That night Jenson placed a national warrant for Mr. Montgomerys arrest. Randy was set free from the Denver jail.
Bens phone alerted him of a message from Olivia. A baby emoji was sent, Ben was thrilled. "Baby is here" Ben said. Randy looked at Ben with admiration. "Is this you asking me to go with you to meet your brother or sister Benny Button" Randy asked. Ben nodded, trying not to blush as madly as he wanted to, "Use those words Benny" Randy said. Making Bens heart beat faster, looking at Randy he felt the word forming on his lips. "Yes" Ben said.
"I-m sorry for...be-ing an ass-hole to you...please do not fall o-ut of love wi-th me" Ben said. Thunder was heard from a distance, rain soon fell on the horizon. Randy kissed Ben sweetly heating them both up from the cold rain.
