Returning to the bakery Benny went to finish the cupcakes. Randy was stopped by Olivia.
"How did you teach him that" Olivia asked. "I held his fingers up to my lips and I repeated my name until he spoke" Randy said. "What else did you learn about Benny" Olivia asked. "He loves ninja turtles his favorite is Leonardo, I also learned his safe foods" Randy said.
The picture of his blue eyes was poking out of his coat pocket. "Did Benny draw that for you" Olivia asked. He showed Olivia, her heart was happy for Benny. "He's always been a great artist even when it's been a week he'll draw from memory" Olivia said.
Benny was concentrated on his cupcakes that he didn't notice Randy. Orders were coming in for cakes that were needed in the following days. Randy didn't waste a second to get them made.
After completing the bakers rack of cupcakes Benny began an order for the local school. A fifth grade class wanted animal cookies for their zoo trip announcement. This order was needed for Friday.
Benny was frosting a cookie that looked like a giraffe. A picture of one was on his tablet. The giraffe looked pretty spot on and delicious. Benny decorated another that turned into a lion. After the lion a zebra cookie was made, the last was a hippo.
Randy came up behind Benny to see the finished products. He picked up the lion cookie, "Alex the lion" Randy said. Benny looked at Randy like he was crazy. "That's it I'm showing you all three Madagascar movies" Randy said. The twenty year old still didn't know what Randy was talking about. "Marty the Zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo...you need to find a Lemur for King Julian, Maurice, and Mort" Randy said.
That night Randy and Benny left, with Olivia's permission Randy was able to go with him. The twenty year old had the essentials in his ninja turtles backpack. As they walked Bennys grip on his hand was tight to say the least. He was excited to see Randy's apartment.
Randy led him up the stairs carefully watching so he wouldn't trip. Reaching his apartment door Randy felt Benny squeeze his hand. He then opened the door to his apartment. Benny entered, looking around he wasn't familiar with this place. But he was familiar with Randy.
"I have ninja turtles if you want to watch it" Randy said. Benny eagerly nodded watching ninja turtles with Randy is a dream come true. Randy switched the tv to find the right service ninja turtles was on. Beginning with episode one Randy and Benny spent an entire afternoon watching ninja turtles.
Randy would sneak a glimpse at Benny every so often to see his eyes attached to the tv screen. Opening his phone Randy decided to order a pizza. Listed on the safe food list it was a number one option. Benny looked down and saw Randy was ordering pizza. He sat up more he was excited to eat pizza again.
Randy put his arm around Benny. This was something Olivia did when she was sitting with Benny. He rested his head on his shoulder. Randy began gently playing with his hair. "Is this ok to play with your hair" Randy asked. Randy noticed a slight nodded from Benny. Randy's fingertips made soft traces in Bennys hair.
Bennys hand rested on Randy's thigh. Tapping his thigh three times, "Benny says I love you by tapping three times" Layla said. The memory of that moment came back into Randy's head. He tapped back softly on Bennys free hand three times.
Bennys eyes began to close his head fell on Randy's shoulder. The older moved Bennys position so his head was lying on his lap.
Layla sent Randy a message about a baking competition. She knew Olivia wouldn't approve, Benny was Laylas son too he could do fun things. Plus Layla trusted Randy with her son.
Randy didn't want to wake Benny yet, instead he looked into the baking competition.

Bennys love of frosting and Randy's baking skills they couldn't lose. But they needed to be great right now they were average. Benny and Randy spent the rest of the next two days working out plans. While balancing the ball of working at a bakery, taking orders from Olivia.
"Randy I need a two tier cake ready Benny I need it frosted by tomorrow" Olivia said. Randy made a funny face causing Benny to laugh almost dropping his frosting bag. "Watch it love birds" Layla teased. Sending a wink towards Randy.
