"You have my number saved. Why didn't you call me?" Taehyung questioned with both his hands resting on either side of his hips. Even if the question was for me, he didn't dare to take his piercing glare away from the other celestial being, who did the same.

"There was no need to"

"Yes, but—"

"I remember everything, Taehyung. The past that connects me to him"

"Minrae, that's the whole point. I have been assigned to you for your safety from him. You have to talk to me about these things."

"Please, she is a grown woman" Jimin responded. "She can take care of herself"

"I wasn't talking to you"

"I don't need your permission to talk"

"Your ugly face wouldn't last a second if I decide to hit you with lightening"

"Your sorry ass wouldn't be able to kill even a fly"

The minute we crossed roads, both Taehyung and Jimin wouldn't stop bickering among themselves. Sometimes it got to a point that I wasn't even physically present, and all the two arrogant men would do is talk over each other.

Though Jimin was my only patient to assist in my time in here, there were a few cases that had come into my schedule and I had to take turns like I would back in America to treat them.

So apart from the crazy work schedule, almost dying by falling from a twenty-story building, learning about a brother in my life and dealing with a clueless flirt Demon, my whole day couldn't get any more tiresome and exhausting. My patience was at the peak of its existence. It was only a matter of time before I go to hell for killing two celestial beings, immortal or not.

"STOP IT!" I yelled and both men flinched in complete shock.

"I'm going home" I announced, leaving the two baffled men on their own and walking the opposite direction to catch a taxi.

"I'll drive you, my car is just parked the other side" Taehyung offered.

"No, Taehyung. I'm not going back to my hospital room. There is an apartment I had rented in case. I'm going there. I need a break from that place"

"But" Taehyung interrupted, holding out his hand and blocking me from walking ahead. "You have your own room there. That's where you stayed till now"

"Yes, but I don't want to today. Why is that so bad" I retorted with an annoyed tune.

"You will be out of my sight" he replied with agony in his voice. "I won't be able to protect you"

"Here we go with this same bullshit again" Jimin responded, rolling his eyes.

Taehyung shared a nasty glare at Jimin before softly looking back at me. "And besides, you both share the same energy now. How can I just let the two of you on your own under the same roof? Especially" He paused to glare at the Demon again. "Considering how much I know Jimin around woman, there is no way I will allow of it"

With everything happening around, it had eventually slipped my mind about Jimin explaining to me how our energies balance each other and that it is very important for him to be beside me at all costs. However, I didn't want to go back to the hospital again. My head felt like it would explode at the very thought of it. And Taehyung's concerns were very genuine and I would never question them either. I took a moment to glace at Jimin who noticed how confused I was.

"I will be at my best behavior, darling"

"Right! Shut it, Jimim" Taehyung spat.

"You don't even start—"

"Why do you both talk like that? Can't you just speak like any other person would"

"In case you didn't notice" Jimin started, pointing at the both of them. "We are two opposite powers with completely different mindset. While mine is power and vengeance, his is butterflies and rainbow dust"

Taehyung was nodding his head as Jimin spoke showing his approval but that was only until the last few words which easily escaped the Demons lips and Taehyung was ready to throw hands.

"Okay, okay, I get it. I will think about it on my way home. For now, maybe instead of the hospital, you could drop me at my apartment, Taehyung. If that's okay?"

"I'll get my car. Wait right here"

"Go, on" I spoke. "Put your feet in and then your body, followed by your head. It's not rocket science you know"

Fifteen minutes had past with me trying to convince Jimin to get in the backseat of Taehyung's car. It is a Rolls-Royce in complete white and looked very brand new like he just got it out the store today. I waited patiently so I could hop onto the front seat, but Jimin wasn't looking comfortable to get even five inches near the vehicle.

"Because this beast belongs to Taehyung, what makes you think it will not try to kill me? I am not going to enter his ride"

"We can just leave him here you know?" Taehyung suggested from the driver's seat.

"And have him rustle a man in a Teletubby costume again, not a chance" I replied, recalling how Jimin had charged at a man advertising his toy shop in a Teletubby costume.

"It looked like one of Hades dogs named Cerberus, but with one head" he continued. "And in an ugly yellow" he debated at his own conclusions with a finger on his chin, thinking. "Okay, maybe even a little creepy. It smiled even when I called it a lemon head"

"Get in, now" I demanded.

"Fine" he gave in, moving one step at a time. Jimin bend his head to adjust to the cars door and slowly entered in.

"She tends to bite at times. Be careful" Taehyung teased and Jimin panicked.

"Oh for the love of all gods get your ass in already" I yelled, kicking Jimin's fine ass into the car. Don't question me. His butt was on my face, screaming for me to do it anyways. And when his body found itself on the car's comfortable seats, he relaxed.

"Seat belts" Taehyung said eyeing the both of us through his rearview mirror.

I buckled myself and informed him about my location as he started fixing it on his location maps. Just as I slid down into the seats to relax, I noticed Taehyung constantly staring at Jimin through his rearview mirror again. In curiosity, I turned around to see him entangled between the seat belt. His head and one arm went through a hole while his other hand was god knows where.

I had to hold in my laughter and take out my seat belt to help the poor thing. Getting him out was easier than I thought.

"I do not need this shield around me. Unleash the best, let's get going already"

"But the seat belt—" Taehyung tried to talk.

"Just go, dipshit"

Jimin was speaking in an arrogant tune and that annoyed Taehyung. It was for his own safety but no, the Demon would never surrender. Adrenaline kicked Taehyung and he stepped on the accelerator with force. Within seconds Jimin's legs kicked both of our front seats as they tried to push his body weight on the seat and his hands were holding onto the edge of both our seats. The Demon looked mortified.

"I knew it, this was a bait to get me killed!" he yelled, but never let go of his strong grip.

Taehyung never slowed down. In fact, he was at the peak of the speed limit and I was a little worried. But hey, I'm in a car with an Angel and Demon, two divine beings, what could possibly happen to me other than Jimin screaming his lungs out and damaging my hearing.

Though there was terror in Jimin's eyes, I couldn't help but admire his calm nature compared to when we had met in the godown. The person I first encountered was a scared, miserable, vengeance seeking being, who had no interest in anyone around him. The Demon's eyes that once spoke of years of pain and depression, were now filled with curiosity and innocence.

"We are here" Taehyung finally spoke after an hour of travel. He was surprisingly a quiet driver and preferred not to answer any of Jimin's unnecessary questions about his 'Poorly tamed beast'.

With the fast pace at which he was driving, when he pulled the break, the impact was powerful. My body automatically moved forward but Taehyung raised his hand to my seat beside him, making sure I wasn't going to bang on the seat front.

But what Taehyung didn't care, was the man behind me, who had crashed straight on the front seat, his cheeks slammed onto the radio above Taehyung's arm.

"Are you okay?" I moved his head in complete horror.

"You look like you could use a seat belt" Taehyung teased, being the first to walk out of the car and moved to open the door for me.

"This is me" I said, pointing at the building next to us. "Thank you for driving me. You should head back"

"And Jimin?" he asked.

"There is no other option than letting him come along" I replied with a shurg on my shoulder.

"Do you want me to come?"

"And risk you both fighting all night long. I'll pass. One of you itself is a handful" I chuckled and so did he. Taehyung took a moment and let out a big sigh before giving in.

"Okay but call me if anything goes wrong" to that I nodded in approval.

The angel walked back to his car in denial but waved me goodbye before driving away from our sight. It was a long day and all I could think of was throwing myself onto my bed. I also just recalled that it is going to be my first time in the apartment as well, so the whole thing is a mystery to me and not just the dense looking tough guy here.

We both entered inside the building. So good so far. But that was until Jimin had encountered,

The elevator.

"Did this just growl at me?" he asked at the noise it made when we moved floors above.

It was surprising to me when he entered the small enclosed space without actually making any problems and asking the usual questions. I'm assuming he didn't want to bother me much since its very evident how tired and sleepy I looked. Not to mention the ample number of times I tripped on my own shoes while walking here. And I was in damn shoes for god's sake. If it were heels I would be good as dead by now.

"No, Jimin we are good. Just wait till we reach the thirty sixth floor. It's going to take some time" I said and started yawning the very next second. My eyes were dropping dead and I couldn't stand still anymore. Jimin looked extremely confused at what I just said, but decided to not ask anything back. Instead, he was a little worried about me looking like I would pass out any moment now.

"You okay? —"

Just after he started speaking, the elevator door opened to bring two more people in. Jimin looked confused and moved closer to me.

"Is that okay?" he asked, pointing odly at the newcomers with a rather displeased look. "Should I ask them to leave your house?"

I know I said I was tired, but to that I could literally roll on the floor laughing my ass off. He actually thought this was my house? So that is why he didn't question me. I assume he was trying to be nice. And because there were more people in the elevator now, I tried not to lose it completely and seem like I need exorcism to be performed on me in my current knocked out condition.

But at that moment Jimin looked so innocent, that unknowingly my hands moved to pinch both his cheeks. I think I'm doing weird things when I'm sleepy.

"Stop being so cute" I spoke, still holding his cheeks. He froze. Jimin didn't know how to react or what to do but stare in complete shock. And so did the other two people with us. Though they were looking at me like I was drunk, which by the way I do look like when I'm tired.

When my hands fell away from Jimin, I was feeling all sleepy again and continued to yawn for the hundredth time in a row. My shoulders fell heavy and I could literally pass out on an elevator. Floor after floor I could feel my eyes close and my head siding to my right.

But then I felt a shoulder beside me, holding my head on his firm figure.

"We should stay beside each other, right? That's all" he spoke, not looking at me.

"Yes, we should" I replied, a smile creeping into my lips, falling asleep on his firm shoulder in that few minutes until I knew it was our floor to exit.

We both walked on the narrow path between rooms and Jimin was confused since he thought the elevator was my home. It was easy to spot my door with the room number right on top. I opened the digital pass key and clicked on my passcode and the man watched me with his head tilted, holding in the urge to bombard me with a thousand questions and I appreciated that.

"This is my home, Jimin" I said, opening the door and welcoming him in.

It was a surprise to the both of us, but obviously Jimin's was a little more than me. He walked in to see a spacious living room with a chandelier on the ceiling. On the floor there was a fur carpet which was designed over high gloss polished marble tiling. Right beside the living room was an open kitchen that had customized pendant lighting on the serving counter of the finely carved to detail island kitchen layout. To the right was the bed room and I assumed the washroom was located inside there. The place was simple yet designed to perfection. I did pay a handful for this apartment.

"You must be pretty rich"

"Well, I work as a Doctor in the most reputed hospital in New York and now here under the highest paid hospitals in Seoul. Not to brag but I do come from a wealthy family background as well"

"Didn't understand a thing. So, you are like the king's personal physician kind of position?"

I was too tired to actually see if what he said made sense. "Exactly"

My legs automatically moved to find the bedroom and crashed onto the bed the minute my eyes laid on them. The soft fabric calmed and soothed me to sleep. My eyes were closed and relaxed at the dark room which I didn't even bother switching on the lights to scan around or discover the space around me. There could be a serial killer hiding under my bed and I wouldn't even know.

Just as my eyes were about to close, I could see someone lay bedside me, patiently watching me from the other side of the bed. His presence for some odd reason didn't bother me. I should be telling him to go crash on the sofa, but I decided to let go of the worrying. I was too tired to think and I just let him be.

He wouldn't have his eyes move away from me and I had to hold the thoughts as to why? What was so amusing to you about me? Why are you staring? away for now. there was so much I wanted to know from him, but so less I could ask in my state of mind. He is right here. He is beside me, not laying a finger on me. But just watching me fall asleep.

It was a dark room and I couldn't see his features clearly. But I could tell there was a small innocent smile playing on his lips. But he said nothing and allowed me to fall asleep. No more doubts. No more questions. Nothing. My eyes fell weak and I found myself falling asleep right after I asked him my very first question, though the answer was unheard.

"Why did you save me?"
