MÂ Â IÂ Â NÂ Â RÂ Â AÂ Â E
A gun was raised above his head, nobody moved, nobody cared. It wasn't just a gun; there were more than ten of them, each surrounding the centre of the hospital with equal distance, having a huge, heavy gun that was loaded with many bullets. Mask covered their identity.
The staffs were shivering; whoever was in the main corridor was caught, taken by pulling their hair. If you resist, they punch you on the face, whether it's a man or woman, they didn't care.
My mind couldn't completely process what's going on. I called it off for a day and was about to head to bed, before a loud gunshot was heard. Nobody was injured, just being taken somewhere, forcefully. It was a sight of horror. But I wasn't involved. I wasn't near that area.
There was a small hole near the elevator, where I was peeking in fear. To my surprise everyone one was gathered and kept on their knees. But I'm not yet found.
'What do I do, who are they'
'Come down, now'
A voice whispered, somehow familiar. I looked all four directions, tears about to fall in doubt. I wanted to run. It was one of the most difficult feel, to choke down my fear and tears together at a moment like this was hard, I was breathless. Anyone would be fine, help me.
'Godown, now!' he finally screamed, making me hold both my ears tight.
Patiently removing my hands I realized the familiarity in his voice.
'Ji-Jim-Jimin'
'Come down, you fool'
This time his voice was more worried than usual. My uncomfortable breathing still continued, and I knew I had to get moving. My legs were shivering with every slow step I took towards the stairs. Avoiding everyone's presence, I finally reached the stairs to the Godown.
"Kim Taehyung" With the loud announcement of his name, I froze. I looked behind, from a distance where I can see but they can't see me, nor sense my presence, but definitely with a wrong move, I'll be caught.
A guy was trying to shove a hand sized gun inside Tae's mouth, while he didn't resist them. He was staring back, but not in fear. With the intense stare held between them, the guy with the gun slapped his head low, trying to make him bow all the way down, till his head meets the floor.
Without fighting, he followed. My eyes were widened when he stamped his head aside. When he did, Tae's eyes somehow met mine. He held in his surprise, not letting those guys notice me, and took in the pain.
The guy with the gun was out of control, he was about to kick his head like a football. Tae, noticed the change in my expressions and must have realized what was coming. He didn't close his eyes, but waited for the impact with his eyes wide open, signaling me that it's okay.
With a fierce speed I could see his leg racing to, Tae.
I wanted to scream.
But.
Tae's eyebrows frowned. It's like he knew I would scream, and he didn't want that knowing I would get caught.
Looking around, I felt a pause. Everything slowed down; it all froze before my naked eyes. I also couldn't move, my position was the same, only my eyes moved. It was all too much for me to digest ,and Tae, was still staring at me, his eyes moved too.
He folded his hands into a fist in his still lying down position, for the impact, which was currently frozen, somehow.
The next thing I knew was a feeling of my hand unconsciously, by itself, covering my mouth and a strong force pulling me down the stairs. I fell on my shoulder, it didn't hurt? Even if I was down, I could still see what happened above.
What was frozen a few seconds ago was now back to normal. A painful scream was let out. He must have hurt, Tae. That pain made me feel sick and angry while I harshly pierced my nails between my palms, grinding my teeth, helpless.
'Minrae' Jimin, called again.
I ran to his side of the cell. After reaching there I kept searching my pockets for the keys. There were many keys inside just one knot, confusing me which one I used. Forget my hand; my entire body was shivering when I felt voices getting closer. The keys were playing in my fingers. I dropped them almost five times now.
"Argh" I couldn't take it anymore. Tears were now let out free, my breathing got faster as I held one of my hand on the metal bar for support. Footsteps were getting heavier, I knew I couldn't escape.
The cold feeling on the rusted metal was met with a warm hand over mine. Hesitantly, I looked up to meet his eyes that were dark and lonely, but I saw something different. His eyes were seeking, trust.
"Move" he said, removing his hands from mine on the metal bars that separated us.
My eyes only questioned, but not knowing why, I moved. Removing mine from the metal.
"Pretty lady, over here" three men whistled, walking closer to me with the guns by their side.
Shocked, I forced my steps backward.
"Ooo, it's so sad such a pretty face would be gone to such a waste" he continued, walking closer.
Honestly, I had the courage to kick his ass. But the fact that I'm stuck in a Godown, having nowhere to plot an exit won't let me make a run. With the last step, it was the end. My body hit the wall.
"Don't lay a finger on her! I will kill you all!! No, no !! nooo" a huge scream was let out by the guy I met before behind the bars, Hoseok.
Nobody cared, yet he kept screaming, sometimes even crying, and rubbing both his hands against each other, pleading for me.
The guy let out a sly smile, taking his last step to me before a shadow was formed in front of me.
"Jimin" I questioned when I felt his fingers locked with mine.
That's weird, he was behind the bars, how did he?
Before I could even raise a question to him, I could see the cell door thrown to another side; its lock was melted, just how?
Even if I was standing, protected, behind him, I could see his facial expressions. It was still, no worries, no concerns. Still as ever it will be.
"A psycho is going to beat me up" he asked, laughing.
Jimin, showed no change of expressions yet, it's scary. And I feel protected.
"Move! Or I'll shoot you" he warned.
"Shoot" Jimin, commanded this time, with an obvious smirk on his face.
He raised it above, aiming at Jimin and pulled the trigger. But it wasn't meant for him as it raced to my side, who was behind him. After receiving the clue, within the few seconds of life left, I held my breath steady and waited for it to pierce through me, with open eyes.
When the bullet was almost close to me, or my eyes to be precise, a hand covered my sight, catching the bullet meant for me, between his fingers. I was more than shook, I was relieved. It felt like an action movie.
Jimin, didn't budge with the strong bullet in his hand. To be honest I was concerned if he was okay.
'I mean, not everyone can go around catching bullets like that unless-'
'-unless, he's telling the...'
'Truth' Jimin, completed the question in my head, answering it clearly back, looking at me, with a smile that I couldn't make out the meaning off.
He's even doing telepathy, what is going on.
When the three guys hurried to his side, together, Jimin, simply observed the bullet that he held between his two fingers.
When they got even closer, he closed his one eye, this time aiming, with his head tilted sideways. Looking at him closely I could clearly see that he was aiming above each of their head and from there he went down to their chest, near their heart probably.
Jimin, was confused whether to aim on their head or to their chest. I didn't know what he was planning, but I could sense something bad, something he shouldn't do.
Unknowingly my one hand that he is still holding on to squeezed his, signaling him. With the feel of my fingers, pressuring his, he turned to see my facial expressions quite worried. First, he didn't give it much attention, but I shook his hands again, asking him why, what are you doing.
He sighed heavily, looking at me annoyed. The dark eyes he had, was somehow relaxing. Jimin, now bended a little low, aiming again.
"Watch carefully" he said, after which he simply tossed the bullet between his fingers.
The bullet hit the guy in the center, right at his leg. And from there the same bullet hit the guy in the right and the guy in the left too, on their legs as well.
All of them painfully fell on the floor, while the guy in the centre hit his face on the cell bars before falling down, it's like Jimin, meant that to happen.
Smiling, he walked to that guys side, saying.
"It's so sad such an ugly face would be gone to such a waste"
'That, was so cool'
No, wait, Minrae. There are still people up there.
"How did you do that" I asked.
"Wasn't that enough for you to believe me, Dr" he smiled, calling me that for the very first time.
"I don't have my wings yet. So I won't be able to use all my powers. Only my strength and a few more abilities, like talking to you in your head"
"Then, how did you control me and pull me down the stairs"
"What? I never did that. I can't do those kinds of things until I gain back my wings"
"Then who-"
Before I could finish my doubt, seven more guys were thrown down the stairs. They were thrown while floating in mid air. Something was controlling them till then. And they also looked wounded very badly, but all were alive.
I looked at Jimin, confused. But he looked like he already knew, waiting for someone.
It all felt like watching a movie. Jimin, walked forward, almost reaching near the stairs, waiting down. Things started to feel all slow motion for me. It was all in my mind.
The sound of heavy footsteps coming down the stairs. A guy with a black, long, branded warm jacket and his hair fixed perfect was steadily taking his steps down.
Because it was all slow motion in my head, it looked so cool.
When they met eyes, both the guys stared intensely, a rage of fire gulfing them apart.
I recalled the scene when Tae's hands folded into a fist when everything stopped, and that was when I was pushed back.
"Taehyung!" when he heard my call, he turned, smiling at me, warmly.
A strong aura surrounded the two guys, who didn't look in good terms.
