The assassin looks toward Grizel in awe, she felt the connection between her and her master is getting weaker and weaker before completely severed.
When the seal vanished entirely, Grizel taps the assassin's shoulder and speaks with a serene smile.

Grizel smile in silence looking at the notification.
The assassin who thought that beautiful silent smile was for her is bursting into tears once again, couldn't believe that the day she chose to end everything turned out to be the beginning of her happiness.
Grizel once again wipes her tears while murmuring her thoughts. She is surely a cunning girl but still the type of leader who cherished her subordinates.

Athena who was oddly quiet for a moment ago let out a stupid comment as if in condolences, Grizel angelic face turns sour hearing this mood-killer queen.
"Please give me the highest honor to receive a new name and life from you, My Lord"
Grizel stands up and smiles in satisfaction, by granting her a new name means she will be reborn as a new person leaving all her past behind and live her life for Grizel, this is the assassin's way to pledge her loyalty.

Grizel paused a moment as if thinking about a new name, even though in truth, she has already thought about the names of her future subordinates she planned to recruit.
"I shall grant you the name of Lucifer, live your life as my shadow in pride"

A sudden silver light glows beautifully at Lucifer's left backhand, a strange symbol appears like a glittering silver tattoo matched with Grizel's hair color, different from the slave seal tattoo that emits a restriction, this new symbol is more like special identification of someone who served the Lord.

Grizel grab Lucifer's hand and examined it, she recalled this symbol, this symbol which always appears in her status window as the background, she assumed it was a mere ornament, but...

Grizel grumbling inwardly, before her ears caught something horrifying.

Lucifer said in ecstatic, overwhelmed by her abrupt happiness while caressing the symbol at her backhand to her cheek as if a precious treasure.
Grizel glance at the lunatic Lucifer in goosebumps, she didn't know her real personality because the novel only mentioned her nickname.
'I guess I pick up another troublesome weird creature'
she thought inwardly, Athena is already annoying enough for her, and now another one is waiting for her command like a starving dog with big eyes.
For the first time in her second life, Grizel facepalmed in misery.

She just recognized the face of the unconscious woman when Grizel show it off to her.

The unconscious woman is her maid, Emma, the observant maid who was too smart for a mere commoner maid.
"She was wandering around in front of my room even before you came, seems like you're not fully trusted"
This maid, Emma was the one who killed Phantom in the novel.
Unfortunately, it's not because she wanted to help Grizel whatsoever, in fact, this spy was ordered to silence the assassin in case she betrayed the master.
Therefore, Emma killed the assassin while pretending to be Grizel's savior.
In the novel, Grizel was attached to Emma like glue because of her so-called heroic deed and Grizel appointed her as the most trusted personal maid, sadly, Emma was a bad influence for Grizel, she played the big role of leading Grizel towards the path of Villainess.

Lucifer's joyous atmosphere a moment ago has vanished and replaced with bloodshot eyes.
