Grizel sighed helplessly laying on her bed, she had never been as healthy and full of vitality as this before yet couldn't do anything but rolling on her bed in boredom, it's because everyone in the mansion, including her fiance begging her to rest in her chamber, to make it worst, Levi and Lucy are whining about it either.

Her plan was delayed due to her awakening stage, she wanted to make her next move as soon as possible but was prohibited by her overprotective subordinates and fiance. This time, she followed their request willingly because she needs a long chat with someone, or she should she called it a blessing.

'Athena'

'Yes, Master'

'Why didn't you give me any prior notification of this awakening?'

Moreover, Grizel found it odd because usually Athena will say something like the information is locked or restricted, but this time she didn't know anything as well.

'Master, I think the one who knows the answers is someone that reincarnated your soul into this world and planted me in you'

Both Athena and Grizel sighed inwardly in unison sound dejected.

M.Atk or Magic Attack for magicians of the Wizard Class awakeners displayed their Attack power, but for Holy Class awakeners, Magic attack showed their Healing power.

'Athena, I just awakened as a Holy Class awakener but why my Magic Attack is this high?

'It seems like your Holy Class merged with your Rogue Class and adjusts to the same level, maybe that's why your hellish awakening stage took longer than a normal one'

Grizel recalled the nightmare she has been through, terrified by the pain, even the stubborn and stoic Grizel almost give up on her life if it takes more time.

'I should use this power gained with my effort regardless of the origin'

She smirked and rearrange her plan due to the new power as an addition, the whole mansion already knows about her awakening, and to prevent the enemies deemed her as a bigger obstacle because of her success in awakening, she acted as a harmless awakener by saying...

"When I was in the awakening process, I just think that if I have power, I want a power to help other, because I feel so sad the last time when I can not do anything when Emma is injured to save me from the assassination"

Grizel said with tears to the workers that celebrate her awakening, as the result, all the workers are almost kneeling in front of her bed to worship her like a god.

Rex who watched all the commotion from the corner of the room bit his lip to hold his laughter.

Afterward, Grizel was known as a harmless awakener to the people.

"Your Highness, did you bring the contract approved by His Majesty?"

Grizel asked Prince Rex while enjoying her tea served by the happy-looking Levi and Lucy in the gazebo at the flower garden, the same place when they are negotiating about their alliance that night.

Levi and Lucy couldn't hide their wide grin since Grizel woke up safely from her awakening stage, they glued to Grizel and follow her anywhere like once abandoned puppies, even Rex started to get irritated by their clingy behavior to his fiancee but chose to remain silent when he looks at their honest happy face towards Grizel.

"Oh? Didn't you have any slight doubt that the contract may be disapproved by the Emperor?"

Rex said in a teasing tone, he had already discussed everything with his father and Dion about the contract agreement, he recalled what his father said before signing his approval...

"It's risky, but the benefits of the long-term contract worth the risk..."

That night after reading the alliance contract proposed by her, the 3 of them realized how terrifying Grizel is if she was a merchant, she is born with a great sense of business as if she had experienced in this field.

"No, because I had set a double trap"

Grizel said casually, she is talking about the free antidote she gave them in the name of an apologetic gift.

"As expected of my fiancee, I was foolish for a moment to think it was your generosity"

Rex answered also in his casual manner, he didn't hold any grudge against Grizel because regardless of her intentions, the fact that she is helping them to prove the poison is substantive.

"Thank you for your understanding, Your Highness. I am simply doing business here, and a merchant has a tendency of being heartless"

Grizel pause for a moment to sip her warm tea, and emphasize her next word...

"I beg of your forgiveness this time but I can't promise you next time"

It was a clear declaration that Grizel has no intention to stop her evil way of dealing with business whatsoever. Integrity, morality, honesty, sincerity, and all of the upright behaviors in business are deemed as naivety in her head.

Rex just smiled in amusement, he has never been a nice prince either, he also dealt with several nobles from behind the curtain through schemes, finding his fiancee to have the same personality is reassuring, with no tiring pretense he can relax as his true self with her, he has no intention to change the way she is.

"I highly value results over process, as long as it benefits me and brings no harm to me, the empire, nor those around me, I promise I won't question your way"

He answered to state that he has no problem with the way his fiancee is.

"Wise choice"

Grizel smiles genuinely towards him, she is started to get comfortable with this two-faced Prince.

In her former life, she thought that having this kind of relationship is tiresome and bothersome, she keeps begging her doting grandmother to not setting any more blind date for her, but she thought it wasn't that bad if the partner is as evil as herself and a beneficial for her to use like Rex.

"Then, Your Highness. can I have my contract?"

"It's not with me"

Rex said casually to the confused Grizel then added.

"The contract is with my Father"

"Then what are you doing here, Your Highness?"

As promised, Rex comes back to the Belial castle 2 weeks after their last met, but it was supposed to be for him to bring the contract agreement, nonetheless, he didn't bring it with him.

"I rushed over here when I heard you collapse"

Rex peeks at his fiancee hoping for her to blush even a little bit at his romantic answer but...

"I am sorry Your Highness, though I found your presence is not a hindrance, I still prefer my contract over you"

She said bluntly, it's true that she felt comfortable with him around but if she had to choose between her fiance and her business contract, she prefers the later without a second thought.

"Pfft, seems like I still have a long way to go"

Rex chuckled upon hearing the blatant words from Grizel, even though his fiancee chooses the contract agreement over him.

"I come here to escort the future Empress moving to the capital in order to receive her Imperial education"

"Pardon?"

Grizel surprised by the abrupt order to move into the capital, in the novel it was mentioned that she will be moved to the capital after their engagement was officially announced at the engagement party.

"My Father wanted to have a discussion with you regarding the contract"

'And I don't want to be apart from you anymore...'

Rex chooses to save the later reason to lessen his already wild heartbeat thinking about Grizel moving to the capital because they can meet whenever he wanted to.

"Alright, but Your Highness, instead of lessons, could you make it as tests?"

"Do you want to do the tests without the lessons? Are you sure?"

"Yes, but promise me I don't have to take the subjects I've mastered"

Rex thinking about her ability, she could pass several tests without any problems, and this is more efficient to maximize her education in the field she is lacking in.

"Hhmm, alright"

Grizel nodded in satisfaction hearing his answer, she has no time to take the full lessons because she needs to process with everything planned in the contract agreement when she has gotten the Emperor's approval.

10 years, she has fought against the monsters in this territory, leveling up to gain strength, saving gold, or looting other's treasury to be precise, all of these was to prepare her next movement when she moved to the capital.

In contrary to the monsters in the forest of demise, the monsters called nobles in the capital are far more cunning and greedy, and each of her actions will be monitored by many eyes, she needs to stay away from the drama in the upper class and focus on her next plan...
