The grandiose hall of the Palace has become quite noisy as the gathering of the nobles who are waiting for the Imperial Family started to talk to each other, grouping among their peers chatting about various things from urgent matter to cheap gossips.
Meanwhile, the announcer at the gate of the hall keeps announcing the arrival of the other nobles who just arrived, only the entrance of those powerful nobles are gaining attention since some of the guests are already absorbed in the talk of politics, economic, or discussing the rebels in the West region of the empire, but still...
The hottest topic of the night is none other than the gossip about the sudden engagement between the Crown Prince and the Belial only daughter that will be officially announced at this party.
Nasty rumors along with the scornful snickering towards the Belial young Miss can be heard all over the place, as human beings, most of the noble believe in the negative baseless news than the verified one.
Of course, it was also because the infamous little lady never shows up in society making her an easy target of the bad exaggerated rumors of the envious people.
"I heard she is a talentless girl"
"Oh my~ the future of our empire seems bleak"

Filled with adoration, one of the Lady defied the so-called lovely Princess, that's why a lot of people fawning over her despite being born as a lowly noble's daughter.

They snickered, nobles tend to take pride in their status, but throw it away as soon as they are aware of the lowly Baron's wealth.

Following one of the women in the group, their gazes drifted to the entrance of the hall, among the noise of the crowd they can hear the announcer's firm voice.

The Goldway family consists of only 3 members enter the hall, half of the nobles recognized the overweight middle-aged man who walks at the front as their business partner, the typical appearance of aristocrats who live comfortably in prosperity.
Walking elegantly next to him is his gorgeous wife that rumored to be the daughter of the most popular jeweler of the Western mainland, it was easy to tell that she is someone whose origin is from the Crimson Empire with her visible trait of coral hair that shines beautifully among the crowd.
"Oh my! is that cute little girl is the Goldway only daughter? Liliana Goldway?"
"Oh my gosh, she is indeed lovely"
The crowd murmured while looking at the little girl who is smiling in shy following right after her parents, an adorable smile that melts other's hearts.
Long loose coral hair that flutters around her reddish soft face makes her look like a sweet little fairy among roses, a gorgeous light pink dress embroidered with white flowers pattern displays both beauty and modesty, the opposite of the vulgar dress prepared for Grizel.
Despite only having the title of a Baron, the crowd started to swarm around him, they won't waste the opportunity to be linked with his vast connections in business trading which are spread across the continents.
"Good evening Ladies"
The Baroness greeted a group of women who were snickering before, she brings over her daughter leaving the Baron who get engrossed in the business talk with the other aristocrats
"Oh my, Mrs. Goldway"
One of the women chirped pretending to be surprised by Mrs. Goldway's approach, even though they have been staring at the Goldway family since their arrival.
"How about a drink?"
One of the ladies offered a glass of drinks as she beckons to invite the Baroness and her daughter to the circle.
"With pleasure"
Mrs. Goldway accepted with smile, since she purposely approached them to be invited into their conversation, it was to promote her beautiful daughter among the higher class nobility.
"Lily, introduce yourself to these ladies"
The little girl who hides behind her mother's dress smiled and comes forth dropping a stiff curtsy, however, her childish imperfect gesture seems to gain more attention as others see her little mistake as adorable.
"Good evening, my name is Liliana Goldway, pleased to meet you"
Her innocent smile beams once again, as their hearts held captive, they couldn't help but admire the little girl regardless of her status as a lowly noble.
Her heroine halo overwhelmed the guests.
"Look at how polite she is unlike a certain someone who got engaged to His Highness just because her prestigious bloodline"
Swayed by the bad rumors one of the ladies commented scornfully but get elbowed by her friend instead, even though this circle consists of noble ladies from the houses who oppose the engagement between Prince Rex and Miss Belial, still, saying it out loud is like opposing the Imperial family.
"Ssshh, we are at the Palace"
"Oops~ it was a slip of tongue, please pardon my rude yet authentic remark"
She said in sarcasm doesn't look like regretting her blunt comment whatsoever.
Achieving her goal to introduce Lily to these stupid higher class ladies, Mrs. Goldway bent down to talk to her daughter.
"You know what you should do, shouldn't you?"
Others might think it was a brief reminder of etiquette given by the mother to her daughter, but not for these two...
"I know mother, I will save him from the Villainess"
The tip of the heroine's lip curled up as she whispered to her mother.
