Evan, however, did not immediately absorb the purple energy. Instead, he isolated it using his spiritual power, allowing it to remain within the vines for the time being.
Time passed, and after five hours, the vines had completely absorbed all the Eldritch Energy from the peak Rank Three Horror.

"What's the matter?" Anastasia, who had been standing nearby noticed the frown on his face and asked.

"It's strange. The Rune of Absorption can convert Eldritch Energy into the energy of void crystals, which enhances my understanding of Void Energy, but it can't seem to convert it into any energy that could deepen my understanding of the conceptual energy of the soul or death."
Anastasia fell silent upon hearing Evan, her expression thoughtful. After several seconds, she seemed to thought of something and spoke.
"Could it be because you have never absorbed anything capable of enhancing your understanding of the soul or death energies? Perhaps you are unable to convert the Eldritch Energy because you have no reference pointâno understanding of the energy you are trying to create."
Evan raised an eyebrow at her explanation and felt It sounded logical. After a brief moment of reflection, he turned to her and asked,
"You are saying that I need to first find something capable of enhancing my understanding of the conceptual energy of the soul and death. Once I have experienced that type of energy and gained a basic idea of what it's like, only then should I try converting Eldritch Energy again?"
"Exactly," Anastasia nodded her head.
Evan frowned slightly at her response and asked,
"Are there items similar to void crystals for the conceptual energies of death and soul? Things that can increase my understanding of them?"
