Third Person P.O.V.
Amelia stayed in her room, checking her closet to find some outfit for the summer weather.
"Hmm...there's nothing cute for me to wear for summer." she sighs. "Only if Lex didn't work today, we could have a shopping spree and find some cute summer outfit together."
She then closed her closet and started getting ready to go to the mall.
Once she arrives at the mall, she goes to different shopping stores to find anything that has good clothes for summer. She then enters a store that has all the dress collection. She looks around all the dresses and finds a white dress with sleeves in it.
"That dress looks kind of cute. I wonder if the dress fits." She goes to the fitting room and starts changing. When she finishes changing, she looks at the mirror and looks at the white dress she is wearing.
"Wow, it's so cute! I love this outfit! It is perfect for summer!" She giggles to herself and gently twirls the dress around. "I've got to show Lex after she finished work."
After she purchases the outfit, she goes to a different store. "hmmm...I need some shirts and pants." She checks on the clearance section and finds a pink floral that comes with the necklace.
"And now I need some pants that match with this shirt." She walks over to the pants section and looks at all the different kinds of pants that are being laid out. She picks up denim pants that have a ripped side on the left.
"Alright, time to go to the fitting room." She goes to the fitting room and changes. After changing, she looks at the mirror and reveals the outfit that she picked. Amelia gave herself a second look from front to back like the outfit on her even more. "This is the one."
After walking the mall some more finding more cute clothes and some yummy snacks to share with Lex, later on, Amelia decided to call it a day and head back home. She knew the second she got come she would race to her room and start organizing her closet. Organizing her closet could take up the rest of the day leading on to the next day since she bought so many new clothes and had to look over her old clothes to see what she still wanted to keep or give away. With that cluttering up her mind Amelia didn't realize where she was going and bumped into someone causing her to step back just a bit until a strong smell of cinnamon and cocoa filled her nose. She looked at the stranger and just froze in place. Her heart started beating fast as every part of her body screamed "MATE". Her pale light blue eyes gazing into the stranger's scarlet red eyes as she realized her mate is not human, but a vampire. Before she could get a good look at her mate her cell phone started to ring causing her to look away fast digging into her back seeing it was Lex calling her. Amelia ignored the call to look back at her mate but was stunned to see that he was gone. She looked around the mall to find him however he was gone.
"Where did he go...? Why did he leave like that?" Amelia felt her heartbreak thinking that she was just rejected by her mate she had just only met.
Feeling the tears start to form Amelia grabbed her bags and headed straight home ignoring the calls and texts from Lex. How could this happen? Amelia didn't know what to do. Did her mate reject her because he thought she was human or that because he's a vampire he expects nothing but the best in a mate and could see she was not?
"How am I going to explain this to my parents..." Amelia sighed taking the covers from her bed wrapping into a ball as her room started to get colder by the second making it snow.
After about fifteen minutes had past Amelia could hear heard footsteps coming closer to her room door as she knew for a fact it was Lex.
"Oh shit."
With the footsteps getting closer and closer the room door was kicked open so hard that the door was broken in half. Amelia screamed from the loud bang questioning if her best friend Lex is really human or something else.
"Sweet gods Lex!" Amelia shouted trying to figure out a way to escape from Lex who is not happy.
"You have some explaining to do Amelia!" Lex shouted. "Why didn't you pick up or answer any of my texts!? I got seriously worried about you! Have you been crying!?"
Amelia knew there was no way out and decided to tell her what happen without mentioning the part how the whole mate thing and such. Having her best friend think that some guy was rude to her was the only way she could explain.
"Look, Amelia, don't get so down over that jerk. There are plenty of fishes in the sea."
Amelia nodded her head. "Your right." The thought of having a second mate in life is rare at best.
"By the way." Lex began.
"Yeah?"
Lex looked around Amelia's room in surprise. "How the hell did you get your room so damn cold that it snowed!?"
Amelia nervously laughed now finding it even harder to explain this. She can't just tell her that when she's upset it snows due to her being a snow fairy.
"I have no idea. It's a mystery!"
Lex laughed smacking Amelia with her cold pillow that had little ice crystals forming at the edges.
"Ow!! That flipping hurt!!"
"That's what you get you Ice Queen! Now we have to clean all this up! This is going to take all night!"
"Hey! This is not my fault!" Amelia pouted the seeing the look on Lex's face making her back up. "Okay, so what if it is."
"Shut up and go get the bucket and shovel."
Amelia laughed doing as what she was told as they both prepared for the long night of cleaning.
