âThere are pajamas, suits, shirts, socks, and so on, and also,â Arabella trailed off before she could finish.
âAnd what else?â
âYouâll see when you get home.â
Seeing a slight blush on Arabellaâs face, Romeo had a hunch and leaned in to whisper, âIs it intimate apparel?â
He chuckled, âHow did you know my size?â
âRomeo!â
âYou look so adorable when youâre blushing.â Romeo gently touched her face, his eyes full of affection, âI never thought youâd have such a shy side. Itâs too cute. Youâre so generous.â
Either she gave no gifts at all, or she gave a whole load of them.
âThis is my first time giving gifts. If there are things you donât like, you donât have to force yourself to keep them.â
âEven if you gave me a leaf, it would be the best gift in the world to me. Itâs just,â Romeo looked down at the bag in his hands, somewhat reluctant to let go. Arabella looked up at him, âWhat?â
âI really want to keep these things.â
These were all gifts that Arabella had personally chosen for him, and some were even handcrafted by her. He really didnât want to use them.
Arabella saw the reluctance in his eyes, âIf you like, I can give you more in the future, especially the clothes. If you want them today, I can send them to you tomorrow. If you want to keep them, I can design a few more sets for you to keep.â
Romeo chuckled at her words, and gently touched her face, âI donât want you to work so hard. When did you prepare all this?â
When she was with him, she didnât have time to do anything.
She must have taken a lot of time off to surprise him.
And he was clueless, often sending her home late.
She must not have had enough rest during this time.
Thinking about this, he felt a pang of guilt.
Arabella understood what he was thinking and casually said, âI didnât spend much time. My mom wants to invite my uncleâs family to dinner tomorrow. You should come.â
Although Romeo had received a call from Louisa the night before asking him to reserve the largest private room, he was still thrilled to hear Arabellaâs invitation, âIâll pick you up tomorrow night.â
âNo need, Iâll take our car.â
âThen Iâll call you when I get to the restaurant.â
âAlright.â
Romeo opened the car door for her. Today they were going to see the flowers in the largest flower sea in the neighboring city.
âItâs a bit of a long drive, you can rest a bit.â
âIâm fine, Iâm not tired.â Arabella took out her phone to handle some work.
Romeo covered her screen as he waited for the traffic light, his tone gentle, âLooking at your phone in the car is bad for your eyes.â
âYouâre quite the busybody.â
âThatâs because I care about you.â Romeo smiled, âIn this life, only you can boss me around. I wouldnât dare to boss you around.â
He knew his place in the family was always last, Bella was definitely first.
âSo you feel quite wronged.â
âI do feel a bit wronged.â Romeo looked at her with a smile, âBut if my fiancee could care about me more, and pay more attention to me, then this feeling of being wronged would turn into happiness.â
Arabella put down her phone and pressed the music player in the car. Beautiful music immediately filled the car.
âDid you write a song for David?â
