Chapter 1190:
Allisonâs unblinking stare remained locked on the screen.
Disbelief washed over her as the audio played. The mouse slipped from her trembling hand and clattered onto the desk. Lilyanaâs voice flowed steadily from the speakers.
It felt as though she had anticipated Allison would one day uncover this message.
âMy dearest Allison, Iâm overjoyed youâve made it this far. Iâm deeply sorry I havenât been by your side all these years. As long as the red dot from the locator chip continues to blink, it means Iâm still alive. When Iâve finished what needs to be done, Iâll come back to you. Allison, promise me youâll live your life to its fullest.â
Allisonâs breath quivered as those words sank in. âMom.â
She replayed the audio, clinging to every word as though it might disappear.
It was as if her motherâs presence filled the room, comforting and near. She didnât even realize her eyes had turned red, hot tears streaming silently onto the back of her hand.
On the map, the red marker blinked persistently.
Allisonâs gaze locked onto the map. âArame Tower.â
It was the very spot where her mother had vanished all those years ago. She had recently reached out to Fabian, and if all went according to plan, she would soon head to Vrining.
Amya swallowed hard, her face etched with unease.
âMs. Clarke, if this leaks, itâll send shockwaves across the world.â
After all, who could have imagined that human experimentation extended far beyond Fleeingland?
And yet, after all these years of being hunted and vanishing without a trace, Allisonâs mother was still alive.
Who would have guessed she was concealed in Arame Tower all this time?

âSo, are we heading to Vrining next?â
Amya, still processing Lilyanaâs revelations alongside Allison, asked hesitantly.
It was almost impossible to fathom the sheer cruelty of experiments that had persisted for so long.
Knowing Allison, Amya was certain she would go.
âOf course, weâre going to Vrining.â
Allison forced her restless emotions into check and shut the laptop with a composed yet unreadable expression.
âIf she canât come to me, then Iâll go to her.â
The only solace was the confirmation that her mother was alive. The blinking red locator was a beacon of hope â they would reunite soon.
Inside Ghost Castle, Danielâs eyes blazed with fury as soon as he saw that Hackerâs World came online. âGet the equipment here, now!â
His eyes locked onto the computer screen, a malevolent glint in his gaze.
The scar across his face only intensified his terrifying appearance. âBack online at last. Letâs see where Allison thinks she can hide this time.â
As his men set up the equipment, Daniel prepared himself. Before diving into Hackerâs World, he issued specific orders to the hacker heâd hired. âTrack the serverâs location, then send someone to kill Allison. Bring me her head!â
