Allan quickly followed the instructions. “Got it.”

Once the fingerprint scan was finished, Allan’s phone rang unexpectedly.

“Who’s calling?” he asked, answering the phone. His expression soured after the call ended. “Alright.”

He turned to Fabian and said, “Mr. Morgan, the client we were supposed to meet today ran into some trouble on the way. He won’t make it on time.”

Fabian frowned, clearly bothered. “What happened?”

“He got into a car accident. Apparently, a woman named Miss Johnson took him to the hospital.”

Allan hadn’t expected this either.

“He’s being treated there now. The doctors say his injuries aren’t too bad, and he wants to reschedule the meeting,” he added.

Allison quickly put the pieces together. The client Fabian was supposed to introduce to them had been in an accident today.

This would obviously delay things.

But something about it still didn’t sit right with Allison.

“Mr. Morgan, if you’re tied up, we could go see him ourselves.”

Fabian’s frustration was clear. Too many things were going wrong.

He turned to Allan, his voice sharp. “Which hospital is he at?”

“It’s the private hospital on Rhine Road,” Allan replied.

Allison and Kellan stood up, ready to leave. “Then we’ll head there now.”

“We need to discuss the collaboration as well.”

“All right, just let me know if you need anything,” Allan said.

“Of course,” Allison answered with a nod.

With that, Allison and Kellan left Dibya Group and made their way to the hospital.

After learning the patient’s room number from the nurse at the front desk, they ascended the stairs. As they reached the door of the room, Allison suddenly froze. She recognized the voice from inside — it was unmistakable.

“We’re from Stevens Group in Ontdale. We heard you’re also in the perfume business?”

The client in the hospital bed gave a slight nod.

“Yes, we’re the agents in Vespera for Diamond Feather, a renowned perfume brand. We were scheduled to discuss the partnership with Dibya Group today.”

Allison’s brow furrowed in confusion.

She looked through the window and saw Melany and Colton standing by the bed.
