Chapter 1231:

“Miss Bellinger needs to rest properly after the car accident.” His voice was calm and almost lazy. “You’re trying to move her? Are you planning to harm Miss Bellinger?”

Colton didn’t want to clash with Allison, but this was about his company’s interests.

He decided to step in and clarify. “You’ve misunderstood Melany. She was just trying to be kind. She didn’t mean anything by it. She just never received any treatment in Vrining and didn’t know how it was.”

Melany bit her lip, pretending to be wronged. “I’m sorry. It was my mistake,” she apologized.

Lizzie shook her head slowly. “It’s fine. No need to apologize. You were the ones who brought me to the hospital.”

If Lizzie had run into such fools on a normal day, she would have snapped by now. But since they had helped her, she surprisingly stayed composed.

Lizzie paused for a moment before saying, “I get where you’re coming from, but because of today’s accident, I can’t manage one of my business deals.”

She realized that she needed to stay in the hospital for a few more days, while the order would still need attention.

So, she decided to take this chance to test them.

“If it’s not too much trouble, could you assist me with this order?”

“Of course. Just hand it to us,” Melany responded without hesitation.

Allison, more cautious, posed a question before making the decision. “What kind of order is it? Do you think we’re suited for this?” It was a perfectly valid question.

Lizzie nodded thoughtfully before responding, “My distributors are some of the most seasoned individuals in Vespera, and they aren’t the easiest to handle.”

She paused, her expression turning more serious, and her tone shifted to one of caution. “So, you’ll need to be fluent in their language, articulate, quick on your feet, and ideally avoid getting caught in their traps.”

The thought of dealing with the haughty distributor made Lizzie’s frustration flare up once again. She felt compelled to share a bit more.

“If possible, try to appeal to their interests.”

Melany gave a firm nod, eager to reassure her.

“Don’t worry, Miss Bellinger. We’ll go above and beyond.”

She prided herself on being fluent in Vesperan and adept at reading people’s intentions.

No matter the difficulty of the client, she always managed to find a way to make it work.

And as long as the man wasn’t as detached as Kellan, Melany felt confident that she’d win him over.

“Good. My client is currently at the Royal Golf Course, where I had intended to go.”

Lizzie gave them this specific piece of information.

“His name is Cutler Rowntree, a middle-aged man from Vespera. I trust you’ll be sharp enough to not make any mistakes.”

Lizzie typically handled the distributors herself.
