Chapter 1272:
âIâm fine. Itâs just a scratch.â
Lilyana shrugged it off, tearing a strip of cloth from her clothing and tying it around the wound with practiced ease. She urged Allison on, breathless but insistent.
âCollen is your father. Heâs now Fabian. But I donât have time to explain it all. Those men are going to act today. You need to leave now, with him.â
The shock of it all left Allison gasping. But she understood the danger was real and that she had to act quickly. She glanced at her watch.
âThe Dibya Group isnât close, and if I go there nowâ¦â It would likely be too late.
But Lilyana shook her head.
âHeâs not at the Dibya Group. Heâs now on the top floor of this Aröme Tower.â
Lilyana fixed her gaze firmly on Allison.
âI kept my distance from him to protect him, but those assholes used my name to lure him here. Allison, you must have heard of the human experiments.â
Lilyana tried to explain it briefly.
âThey were carried out by certain government officials. The building that became Aröme Tower was once a front for these experiments. Iâve been hiding here, searching for the original documents about them. Even Collen didnât know where they were kept.â
Allisonâs heart skipped a beat as everything clicked into place.
âSo theyâve been trying to purchase Aröme Tower because theyâve found you and learned about the documents, right?â
âYouâre right. They couldnât purchase Aröme Tower, so now theyâve decided to take direct action, attacking and occupying this place.â

At that moment, most of the mercenaries outside had been dealt with. Allison quickly contacted Kellan through her earpiece.
âKellan, you heard all of that. The top floor is yours.â
âNo problem.â Kellanâs voice was calm, steady, and unwavering. âIâm moving in with my team right now.â
âGood.â
Allison handed Lilyana off to a few of her reinforcements. âMom, you need to get out now. Iâve got a backup plan.â
She turned to her subordinates. âMake sure sheâs taken out of here safely.â
âGot it.â
Without waiting for another word, Allison commanded her men to force Lilyana out before she could even protest. With Lilyana taken care of, she had nothing left to fear.
âEveryone, follow me and move out of the basement!â
Allisonâs eyes were razor-sharp, her mind clearer than ever. She knew exactly what she needed to do next.
She had to survive.
Only then could she reunite with her mother.
