Chapter 1302:
Allison seemed lost in thought for a moment. âLetâs hope so.â
Given Verrucktâs reckless nature, if he hadnât perished, he would have come back to get revenge. He wouldnât have endured this long.
Allisonâs gaze shifted upward, a slight smile tugging at her lips as she added, âKellan, it looks like youâve been getting along with my parents lately.â
âOf course. As your future husband, itâs important to build good relationships with them.â Kellanâs tone was relaxed. But he feigned innocence as he added, âOur company still has a contract with Dibya Group. Iâm just doing this for the sake of cooperation.â
Allison chuckled, clearly amused.
âIs that so? Well then, Mr. Lloyd, if youâre looking to make the most of your cooperation with Dibya Group, youâd better get along well with me.â
She shrugged nonchalantly.
âAfter all, my dad has already handed me all of Dibya Groupâs shares, and Lizzieâs orders are complete. The Aröme Tower has now reached a whole new level. Mr. Lloyd, if you donât step up your game, you might find your business snatched away.â
Kellan grinned, a spark in his eyes, before kissing her softly. âIâll work hard to make sure you never have to worry again.â He released her and took her hands.
âLetâs go.â
Soon, they were dressed and headed to the garden terrace of the hotel. This popular, classic hotel spot should have been bustling with people, but Allison hadnât seen a soul. Even the elevator was empty.
She glanced down at her blush pink dress and casually asked, âKellan, do you feel like somethingâs off?â

âYour parents want to see you, so theyâve heightened the hotelâs security,â Kellan replied calmly, though he tightened his grip on her hands slightly.
âI suppose so.â
Allison didnât think too much about it. Sheâd been focused on her recovery lately, and she let her parents take care of the company matters. After the cliff incident, they were even more vigilant about safety.
When they reached the restaurant entrance, there was no waiter in sight, so Kellan opened the door himself.
âLetâs go.â
Allison stepped inside. But the moment she did, she was frozen in place.
As Kellan pushed open the ornate door, the scent of roses instantly enveloped her. Curious, she walked further into the dimly lit space, and as the lights flickered on, rose petals began to fall from above.
At that very moment, a melodious tune began to fill the air in the restaurant.
It was a waltz, the kind that seemed to whisper of fate itself. Before Allison could react, Kellan appeared in front of her.
He dropped to one knee. âAllison, will you marry me?â
Kellan stood there, a bouquet of roses in hand, their crimson petals entwined with delicate white bloomsâa symbol of love both profound and pure. Nestled at the very center was a breathtaking, pear-shaped diamond ring.
