Chapter 859:
Jareth quickly pulled up the footage for Verruckt. In the few frames available, only a vague, blurry shape appeared. Jareth hung his head.
âThat woman was quick. She moved the instant the camera focused on her.â
Verruckt took the tablet and watched the footage over a dozen times.
Finally, Verruckt gave a cold, confident laugh. âItâs her again.â
âHer?â Jareth asked, confused. âYou know her, Mr. Shaw?â
âThe female assassin who infiltrated the lab before,â Verruckt said, his voice tight with anger. âFind her. Do whatever it takes. I wonât let her escape!â
âUnderstood, Mr. Shaw.â
Meanwhile, the yacht carrying Allison had already made its way into the Galaxy cruise ship through a different entrance. Everyone was soaked and exhausted, struggling to put one foot in front of the other.
âMs. Clarke, youâre safe now,â Kylo said, arriving with his men carrying comfortable sportswear and key cards. âMs. Clarke, these are for you. Iâll handle everything else.â His team started handing out supplies.
âMr. Vargas has arranged rooms for everyone. The cruise ship has plenty of space, so feel free to rest.â
âThank you.â

Allison felt her tense nerves start to relax. Turning to her men, she said, âEveryone, go get some rest.â
âYes, maâam.â
Once her team was settled, Gordon stayed behind. He narrowed his eyes at Kylo.
âWe meet again, Mr. Vargas.â
He had crossed paths with this man once years ago, back when Kylo struck a deal with Gordonâs father and eventually took control of the casino business in Muisvedo.
âIndeed,â Kylo replied with a smile. âI didnât expect to see you here.â
He didnât push any further. After all, everyone had their secrets. Kylo glanced at Gordon with a knowing look. âMr. Herbert, please send my regards to your father.â
Gordon chuckled loudly, replying, âNo need. After all, Iâve never left Ontdale, and I have no idea you own the Galaxy.â
His tone was sharp, a clear warning.
After that, Gordon ignored the key card the attendant offered and headed straight for Allison.
âAllison, I think I hurt my back,â he said, giving his best puppy-dog look. âItâs tough to treat this injury on my own. Can you help me?â
Kellan heard the exchange and casually grabbed Allisonâs wrist.
