Chapter 935:
âSounds great,â Kellan agreed, his gaze locking with hers. His voice dropped to a low, sultry tone as he added, âI just hope that day comes soon.â
Not far off, Gordon had planned to ask Allison to join him for dinner. However, he accidentally overheard that she was going to travel with Kellan.
Why?
It was clear that Gordon had known Allison longer than Kellan. Things should have progressed in the order they met, but somehow, that jerk Kellan had managed to win her over.
âAllison, I will show you whoâs the strongest,â he muttered to himself.
Without a word, Gordon turned and walked toward the elevator. The doors opened with a soft âding.â A large, middle-aged man stepped out. The moment he saw Gordon, his face shifted to one of annoyance.
âHey, brat, donât you have eyes? Move out of the way!â The man deliberately stepped in front of Gordon.
When Gordon looked up, his gaze was as deep as an endless ocean.
âYouâre the one blocking me,â Gordon replied.
The burly man froze when their eyes met. A strange, sudden fear washed over him, but he quickly shook it off. After all, he was just dealing with a young guy.

He frowned impatiently. âCanât you see Iâm walking here? Step aside!â
Gordon could tell this man was looking for trouble. In the past, he might have avoided the conflict, not wanting to upset Allison. He would have let it slide if he could. But now, the frustration inside him grew stronger.
Gordon raised his head and said, âIâm only going to say this once more: youâre in my way. Youâre the one who should step aside.â
âHeh, believe what you want, but Iâll beat you up!â The burly man knew Gordon was always around Allison, and he couldnât stand her being with him.
Seeing Gordon only made the man more disgusted, so he didnât hesitate to provoke him.
âTsk, looks like youâre not just useless, but you canât even understand basic words,â the burly man sneered with malice. âYou and that bitch, Allison, are nothing but rats hiding behind Mr. Vargas. Iâve been wanting to get rid of her, and now you showing up is just perfect.â
He hated how Kylo always helped Allison. He hated everyone around her too.
âRemember this: from now on, no more elevator for you! Take the stairs and donât show up in front of me again!â
A wave of anger and killing intent surged inside Gordon. âWhat did you just say?â His eyes shifted toward the restaurant. Allison was there. It seemed like the man had meant to provoke her.
The man smirked. âI said, you and that bitch are the sameâjust some disgusting rats. Now, hurry up and crawl away like the coward you are!â
Those words pushed Gordonâs anger to the edge. Trying to hold back his rage, he looked at the man blankly.
