No oneâs POV:
Finn was out shopping, while Leo was in his bedroom with a pacifier in his mouth, hugging his favourite stuffie as he was watching cartoons on the small TV on the TV stand in his bedroom. Leo was giggling, until he heard the front door open. The TV was switched off and all of his items were hidden in a box under his bed. He changed quickly and walked down the stairs trying to speak babble. âYou alright, you look tired?â Finn asked as he was concerned for his friend. Leo nodded and helped Finn with the shopping.
They both stood in the kitchen putting away the food. Leo takes a deep breath in, he wanted to tell Finn about his regression but he was too scared. Finn looked at Leo, he could tell that Leo was on the urge of a mental breakdown but wasnât sure why. âLeo, are you alright? You look like you are going to cry.â Finn says as he turns around Leo disappeared. Finn forgot about the shopping and went up to Leoâs bedroom.
Leo sat in his bedroom with his pacifier in his mouth, laying in his bed with his stuffie close to him as his duvet is covering him. A knock was made on Leoâs bedroom door and Finn walked in, wanting to know if his friend was okay. âLeo?â Finn softly says. Leo took his pacifier out of his mouth and peaked out of his duvet to see Finn sitting on the end of his bed. âFinn, I have something to tell youâ Leo mumbles.
âWhatâs up?â Finn replies, making sure not to rush Leo in what he needs to say. Leo had lost his words and he didnât know what to say. Instead of saying anything he just showed Finn his pacifier, after Leo showed Finn he immediately knew what Leo was trying to say. âItâs okay, I know what you meanâ Finn says reassuring Leo as he begins to let tears out. Finn opens his arms and Leo jumps into them. Leo lets out massive sobs as Finn rubs circles on his back letting him know that it's okay. "Sorry, you are.. probably.. weally angry." Leo says gasping for air as he tries not to slip on his words.
"I'm not angry Leo, I just wish you would have told me earlier so I could have helped you instead of hiding it." Finn softly spoke as he kissed the top of Leo's head. "I'm sorry" Leo mumbles. "Don't be sorry, you were scared and it's okay to be scared. I promise I'm not angry" A little while later, Leo calmed down and fell asleep in Finnâs arms. Finn lifted Leo up and rested him on his bed and tucked him in. Finn left the room, putting the door too just in case Leo woke up crying.
Finn walked down the stairs, into the kitchen putting the rest of the shopping away. After Finn finishes he walks into the living room and sits on the couch watching TV. He put on a film that he thought he would enjoy. Finn began to fall asleep before he heard crying, his eyes widened as Finn began to walk upstairs into Leo's room. "Hey sweetheart, it's alright, Finn is here." Finn picks up Leo and rocks him, as Leo begins to stop crying and they turn into sniffles. "How about we get some fruit snacks and watch cartoons?" Leo nodded in Finn's chest. Finn takes Leo downstairs and puts Spongebob on the TV, while he was going to cut up some apple slices and get some water in a sippy cup that Leo hid. Finn came back to the living room with a plastic plate full of apple slices and a sippy cup of water. Leo looked up at him with a wide smile as he made grabby hands for the apple slices. Finn passed him the plate and put the cup on the coffee table that was in front of Leo.
Hours later, Finn was making dinner as Leo was waddling around the kitchen with a rattle in his hand as he was giggling and babbling. Finn kept checking back on Leo every once in a while to make sure he was okay. Leo sat down and grabbed his colouring book and pencils, he began to colour in a picture of a giraffe, as it was his favourite animal. Finn served up dinner and placed it on the table, Leo looked up at him and made grabby hands. Finn placed him in the chair and he began happily eating his food. Finn sat down next to Leo making sure that if he needed help then he could ask Finn to help him. "Finn Finn, tan you help pwease" Leo spoke quietly, but still hoping Finn heard him. "Of course I can, what do you need help with?" Finn asks as Leo points to the quarter slice of pizza. Finn begins to cut it up in smaller pieces for Leo as he begins to clap his hands in excitement. Finn finishes cutting up the slices and Leo begins to eat them with a wide smile on his face.
A little while later, Finn takes Leo upstairs so they can both get ready for bed. The time was currently 20:47 pm, and Finn put Leo in a dinosaur onesie and a diaper to make sure if Leo was feeling extra small that he would have security in case he had an accident during the night. Leo yawned and made grabby hands towards Finn wanting to be picked up by home. "Come on Leo let's get you to bed, you are really tired aren't you?" Finn says softly, stroking Leo's hair as he carries him to his bed.
Finn laid Leo in his bed and tucked him in, putting his pacifier in his mouth and getting him the blue bunny for him to snuggle up to. Finn got a story book and sat at the end of Leo's bed reading it, before he saw Leo's eyes slowly starting to close. Finn puts the book down and kisses Leo's forehead and puts the nightlight on, making his way out the bedroom leaving the door to.
