It was 7:34am and Leo had woken up with his little items, he put them on his bedside table and walked downstairs to see Finn in the kitchen making breakfast. "Morning," Leo said, yawning in between. Finn looked over "Morning, you sleep okay?" He says while plating the cooked eggs up on the toast. "Yeah, thanks for understanding last night" Leo mumbles.
"Your welcome, I don't mind helping you when you're little" Finn replies, as Leo sits down at the table with a glass of orange juice. "Do you want to go get anything today, like to help you when you are little?" Finn says with a smile on his face. "If you're not doing anything, I don't want to be a bother" Leo spoke quietly. "That's fine, I promise. We can go after we have eaten breakfast" Finn replies as he begins eating his eggs on toast.
Both Leo and Finn got ready and grabbed some bags so they wouldn't have to pay for any. They made their way to the car that Finn drove and buckled up, as Finn started the engine and began to drive to make their way to the supermarket. Leo sat in the car feeling awkward, he wanted to say something but wasn't sure on what to say. Finn noticed Leo's change in behaviour while driving and waited patiently for Leo to say something, not wanting to rush him. "Finn.." Leo says quietly. "What's up?" Finn replies. "Is it okay if I buy some new pacifiers, that's all I need?" Leo mumbles. "Of course, you are welcome to buy some other things for little Leo too" Finn says while smiling but making sure to keep his eyes on the road.
34 minutes later, Leo and Finn got to the supermarket. Finn grabbed a trolley, while Leo stood fiddling with his thumbs showing that he is more nervous than usual. "It's okay Leo, we don't need to get you anything. I need to get some food shopping anyway but it's up to you if you want anything" Finn says with a smile. Leo nodded, not wanting to say a word because of how nervous he was. He didn't want to let out babbles instead of words. "You alright, Leo?" Finn questions his friend. Leo nodded again, looking down at the floor. Finn made his way over to the fruit aisle with Leo picking up apples, bananas and pears.
Both Leo and Finn walked past the children's aisle and something caught Leo's attention. He walked away from Finn and walked down the aisle picking it up and running back to Finn to show him what he found. Finn jumped as Leo tapped his shoulder. "Leo, you scared me. Did you find something?" Finn says, as Leo shows Finn what he found and smiles. "Can I get it?" Leo mumbles not wanting everyone in the aisle to hear him. "Of course you can," Finn replies, Leo puts the item in the shopping trolley and does small jumps up and down.
They both continue with the shop and Leo walks out with new onsies, pacifiers and snacks. Finn held Leo's hand as he slipped halfway through the shopping trip. They both made their way back to the car as Finn buckled Leo in the back seat and put the shopping bags in the car boot. Finn walked to the driver's side and got in the car. "Are you ready to go home?" Finn asked, making sure that Leo was comfortable in the back. Leo nodded as he clapped his hands in excitement ready to go back home.
After 34 minutes, Leo fell asleep in the back of the car, which made it difficult for Finn to carry everything inside the house. He took Leo to his bedroom and laid him in his bed, tucking him in. Finn rushed back downstairs as he grabbed all the shopping bags and put them in the kitchen. He locked the car and the front door. Finn walked back into the kitchen and started to unpack all the food and Leo's new items. He washed them up and put the onesies in the washing machine, making sure that they are cleaned before Leo uses them. While Leo was having his nap, Finn sat on the sofa in the living room watching the TV.
