A little while later, Finn heard Leo crying and rushed upstairs to make sure he was okay. His stuffie had fallen onto the floor, and his paci was missing. Luckily, they had bought more. Finn took the pacifier out of his pocket and placed it in Leo's mouth, which made him settle much quicker than he thought. Finn picked up Leo's stuffie that rested on the floor and placed it in Leo's arms. He picked the smaller boy up and rocked him in his arms. "Shhhhh, it's okay," Finn coos to the mentally younger boy.

"Finny, I had nightmare," Leo says with sniffles. Finn rocks Leo until he has calmed down. "Do you want to tell me about your nightmare?" Finn asks. Leo shook his head in Finn’s neck, as he was scared about what he just dreamt about something horrible.

Finn took Leo downstairs to make him some cut-up apple and pear slices. Finn turned on cartoons for Leo, and he began to clap his hands at the TV as he was giggling. Finn came back with a plate full of apple and pear slices for Leo. He squealed and made grabby hands for the plate. Finn put down Leo's sippy cup, and he immediately grabbed it and began to chug the water. "Someone's thirsty, hm?" Finn chuckled. "Finny tans, I have more pwease," Leo asks quietly. "Of course you can." Finn takes the cup off Leo and goes into the kitchen, refilling it with water. He walked back into the living room to see that Leo had finished all of his fruit snacks and was mesmerised by the cartoon images on the TV in front of him.

"I have your sippy all filled up," Finn says, smiling as he passes it to Leo, who begins to drink it. "Tank you," he says. Leo paid his attention back to the TV and let out giggles. Finn sat down on the sofa behind Leo, making sure to keep an eye on him while doing so. Leo wiggled around while sitting on the floor holding his stuffie. Finn grabs his phone and looks on Amazon for some new stuffies he thinks Leo will like. He adds a pink bunny, baby elephant to his cart and orders them. Leo crawls over to Finn and climbs up on the sofa to see what Finn is up to, but luckily, he opens up a different app before Leo sees what Finn bought for him.

“Finny, tans we colour?” Leo asks with a soft tone to his voice. “Of course we can,” Finn replied. They both sit on the floor around the coffee table, and Finn got Leo’s colour books out. He let Leo pick the one he wanted to have, and Leo picked one for Finn to colour in. Finn gladly coloured the one Leo picked for him. It was a big elephant, while Leo coloured in a giraffe. Leo picks up the yellow colouring pencil and tries to colour in the lines of the printed out picture on the table. Finn begins to colour in the elephant in a light grey and then does shading by pressing the pencil down harder.

About half an hour, both of them finished their colouring. "Finny, do you want to see mine?!" Leo says, holding the picture close to his chest so Finn wouldn't see. "Of course, I'd love to," Finn replies with a wide smile on his face. Leo flipped over the colouring page, and Finn gasped on how good it was. "I love it, Leo. we should put it on the fridge." Finn softly spoke. Leo stood up and walked his way over to the kitchen, putting the photo on the fridge as it was being held by a magnet of his choosing.

Leo rubbed his eyes, and Finn noticed that the little boy was tired. "Is someone feeling tired?" Finn asks as he picks Leo up and takes him to his bedroom. "Finny, I feel sweepy," Leo says, yawning. Finn rubs his back, and Leo begins to drift off the sleep. 'The colouring must have made him tired,' Finn thinks to himself, as he opens Leo's bedroom door and lays him down on the bed. Finn tucked Leo in the duvet, and he sat on the end of the bed reading a story to help him fall into a deep sleep.

A little while later, Finn puts the story book away and leaves the door open slightly as Leo snuggles up with his stuffie and with a paci in his mouth. Finn decided to start on dinner, they were going to have macaroni and cheese, (which was one of Leo's favourites.) Finn grabs the new bag of macaroni and opens it, tipping it into a pot of already boiled water. He stirs the pasta every once in a while and then is ready to start on the cheese sauce. Finn always made the best homemade cheese sauce, and that was why Leo loved macaroni and cheese so much.

Finn plated dinner up and set it on the table. He now had to go and wake Leo up without making him cry. Finn walked up the stairs and entered Leo's bedroom to see Leo sitting on the floor playing with his stuffie. He wasn't sure why Leo hadn't gone downstairs if he was awake. "Leo, you alright there, bud?" Finn asks as Leo turns around, tilting his head. Leo felt smaller than normal and didn't feel verbal, which is something he isn't used to. Leo crawls over to Finn and grabs hold of him, trying to stand up. Finn chuckles, and he takes Leo's hand and tries to help him. Leo stumbles over and nearly falls down, but Finn has hold of him. He giggled, and Finn picked him up, taking him downstairs.

Finn put Leo in his highchair and placed the food towards him. Leo just started blankly into Finn’s eyes, which scared Finn a bit. "You feel extra small,hm?" Finn says as he picks up a piece of macaroni on Leo's fork, feeding it to him.

The time was currently 8:47pm, and Leo hadn't stopped crying. Finn wasn't sure why he was crying, but he surely should be tired. Finn tried everything, bottles, stuffies, and pacis to help him get to sleep. Nothing worked. He paced up and down the living room, rocking Leo in his arms as he drew circles on his back, getting him to calm down. Eventually, Leo gave up and fell asleep. That's when Finn let out a massive sigh of relief.
