Go give her some love!!

"Kenzie, for the billionth time, firstly, I know you have a boyfriend. secondly, I've seen him looming around you like a pesky shadow even before you liked him back, and lastly, I swear if I hear Daniel one more time, I will kill you personally," I said, carelessly putting a fry in my mouth.

"I know, but he's so dreamy," she said, sighing happily.

I roll my eyes at her. Sometimes I wish they'd have a doomed romance so I'd finally hear the end of how amazing he is. I mean, don't get me wrong, I think Kenzie and Daniel are perfect for each other, considering both of them are completely and equally insane.

"So, what's up with you?" She asked.

"Eh, let's see, watching 'Teen Wolf' for the 15th time, or was it 16? anyways , still hopelessly single, still have unconditional love with fast food and Dylan O Brien, and Mason still does not know that I exist on this planet," I replied, listing the details of my dull life.

"Why does that sound so terrible?"

"Because it is terrible Kenzie. Terrible and boring," I raised my brow at her.

"Harper, don't worry. Someday Mason will realize that you are amazing and the one for him, just like Daniel thinks about me."

"Remember what I said about mentioning Daniel and killing you?"

"Oh my God, Harper look," she said, her gaze fixated on the entrance to the cafeteria.

I turned around to see Mason waltz in with his friends.

Mason Stone was so utterly perfect, it hurt to look at him, but like the good kind of hurt. I watched as he walked to the table, running his hand through his silky blonde hair, his beautiful green eyes sparkling with laughter. I wish I could run my hand through his hair.

Mason's group of friends consisted of his fellow football players and the cheerleaders. Courtney Andrews, Chelsea Abbott and Tanya McAdams, hated me with every fiber of their being. I saw them flashing dirty looks at me whenever they walked by, while Tanya was more focused on Mason. They all took a seat at their table. I quickly took out my phone from my bag and handed it to Kenzie.

"Post the picture," I said.

"Oh no, what did you do?" she gasped.

"Just post it," I replied.

"Ohhh Wil-li-am," I called out in a singsong voice.

William Green, my archenemy since second grade when he threw a shoe at my cake on my birthday. He was also the guy I had a crush on before, plus he was Mason Stone's best friend.

Will turned around to look at me in utter confusion. I gestured to him to come over.

"Miss me already, Harp?" he said, his blue eyes glinting with mischief.

"I can't stop thinking about you, maybe it's because of your car," he smirked smugly. Will's last prank was when he covered my entire car with sticky notes. Correction, he superglued them to my car. Getting those off was a week of work and manual labor.

Something I was not very keen about.

Before I could say something, some people around him gasped in surprise.

"Oh my God," everyone muttered.

One of Will's friends stood up and yelled.

"DUDE YOUR BIKE!"

Will looked straight at me and I smiled the sweetest smile ever. He sprinted and I ran after him, my phone recording everything. We reached the parking lot and there stood my ultimate masterpiece, in all its glory, which used to be Will's beloved motorbike. I had spray painted it hot pink and sprinkled it with some sequins and glitter. For extra emphasis, I had scattered some paper hearts around it.

Will's expression was priceless. I recorded the shocked look of all his friends and the crowd laughing their heads off.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you William Jameson Green, and his super adorable bike. It's a special gift for him because of the trouble he took to superglue sticky notes all over my car," I turned the camera to Will and realized he was glaring at me, with a murderous look on his face. I gulped and slid the phone back into my pocket.

"HARPER!" He growled in anger.

"Oh shit," I mumbled. Dumping my bag into a shocked Kenzie's arms, I ran for my precious life. I heard footsteps behind me, and I ran faster than my stubby legs could carry my body. Shit shit shit shit SHIT, I should have made an escape plan. I rushed through the hallway and into the library. As I heard the door open, I hid behind one of the bookshelves. I stood there frozen in time, not even daring to breathe. I took a small peek to my left side.

"Come out, Harper."

Like I'm ever going to do that. I will live here if I have to.

"Here, Harp. Come on out."

Pfft. What am I, a puppy?

The door opened again.

"Will, I think I saw her going towards the field," someone said.

It closed again and the library became totally silent. I let out a sigh of relief. Okay, all I have to do now is not come to school for a while. I just have to run for it and go straight home today. I walk out from behind the shelf only to hit my head on a wall. A wall? How did a wall-? Oh no. I look up the 'wall' to see it's icy blue eyes staring back at me. I tried to make a run for it, but he secured my arm behind my back, positioning me against his chest.

"Did you really think you would get away that easily, Harp?"

I chuckled nervously.

"Come on Will, we've known each other for centuries, we're practically best buds, right?"

Will raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by my statement.

"Okay listen, you ruined my car, I ruined your bike, we're totally even," I explained.

"Is that so?" he smirked.

I nodded and slightly pouted at him.

"I'm so sowwy," I flashed my best puppy dog eyes at him.

"Adorable. But it still doesn't make a difference."

With that said, he effortlessly picked me up bridal style.

"WILL! Let me down!" I pounded my fists on his chest, but the 'wall' only hurt my knuckles, he seemed unaffected.

"Jeez Harp, you're heavy," he retorted.

"Yep, I'm so so heavy, you should totally let me down," I agreed.

"Nah, I don't think so," he shrugged.

He carried me out the library and walked through the hallway.

"William Jameson Green, if you do not put me down this instant, I will make your life beyond terrible," I warned.

"I feel so threatened," he rolled his eyes and laughed.

"Come on Will. I'm your best friend," I made a desperate attempt.

"Best friend? We just keep pranking each other," he scoffed.

"Yeah we have a very special bond and-oh hell naw," I stopped midsentence.

Will had brought me to the swimming pool.

"Will, no," I said.

"Hope you can swim, babe," he chuckled.

"WILL!"

"Best of luck if you can't," he said.

"WILL NO NO NO!"

"GERONIMOOO!" he yelled.

I found myself being launched in the air and then deep under water, all within a millisecond. The water soaked my recently curled hair, and my clothes clung to me. Oh, he was going to pay. Deciding this, I didn't rise up. I just sat there, in the water, holding my breath. Something Will didn't know about me was that I can hold my breath underwater for a long time. I did it during swimming practice when I was five. The instructor thought I was surely dead.

The woman was trying to figure out how to call my parents and tell them how their child had drowned to death on her watch when I re-surfaced with a toothy grin, scaring the living daylights out of her.

I waited harmoniously as Will called out my name a few times.

He jumped into the water and I rose up instantly, laughing. He looked like he'd swallowed a fish.

"Oh God, you thought I drowned?" I laughed.

"Not funny, Harper," he grunted.

I was too busy laughing, and suddenly the door opened, and I saw Principal Myers staring at the both of us.

"Uh-hey Principal Myers," I said nervously.

✦✦✦

"Are you insane, Harper?!"

"Mom, it was just a harmless prank," I replied, defending myself.

"You spray painted his bike!"

"Yep," I agreed.

"You-spray painted, Will GREEN's bike," she emphasized.

"Yes I did. What's your point?"

"Her point is that you spray painted a rich brat's bike," my dad explained.

"Oh, Mom that's fine really, it's not like he's going to murder me." I waved her off, "Unless he has a psychotic streak, which I don't think he does because he basically passed out when we were dissecting a rat for lab class",

"You. Are mad," My mom walked away, massaging her temples in frustration.

"I think he deserved it after what he did to your car," my dad looked up from his laptop.

"Thank you to the only sane person residing in this house, besides me of course," I said.

"Hey! What about me?" Kat yelled from the couch.

"You, Kat, are batshit crazy," I stated.

My dad chuckled while my Mom cleared her throat to remind me about language around kids.

My family is definitely a circus. My mom must have been a benevolent dictator in her past life or something because she acts exactly like one. She can also be super dramatic when it comes to situations concerning me. My dad was the complete opposite, very quiet and calm all the time. You wouldn't even know if he was in a room sometimes.

My younger sister Kat was more like a delinquent. She was hyperactive and conducted some really silly situations. She pollutes spaces with graffiti in the house and sometimes skateboards into other people's properties, to which the police calls us to pick her up.

"I'm so tired, night everyone," I yawned and went upstairs. Conducting awesome pranks sure takes a whole lot of energy. I returned to my room and pulled my phone out of the bowl of rice.

If my phone doesn't turn on, I'm definitely sending Will a very exaggerated phone bill.
