Olivia hesitated, shivering.
âTake it off,â he repeated firmly.
Finally, she complied.
Tyler pulled her closer. âWhat happened here?â he asked, his gaze
intense. He noticed the inflammation around her belly button, the skin
irritated and injured. He carried her in his arms,
causing her to wince as she grabbed his shoulders tightly.
Covering her with her clothes, he carried her out of the room. âWhat's
going on? Who did this to you? âhe demanded.
Olivia trembled but said nothing.
Tyler's expression darkened. It was a side of him no one had ever
seen before.
He descended the stairs, where the maid rushed to meet him. âWhat's
wrong, Mr. Tyler?â
âGet the car ready. We need to go to the hospital.â
âBâBut I just got back from there!â
âI didnât ask you,â Tyler retorted. After settling Olivia into the car, he
asked, âAre there any injuries like this?â
She pressed her lips together, refusing to answer.
