Chapter 17: 15. 𝒦𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓈𝑒

In the past weeks, I've been doing a lot of karate practice, even sensei says that I'll be one of the best in the dojo in no time.

I had Eli and Miguel to thank for that, they helped me tremendously and anytime we hang out together, it would always end in playful fighting.

I spend most of my time with Eli. I was starting to really fall deeply for him. There wasn't a thing about him that I didn't love.

Demetri quitted karate a week ago, because it wasn't his thing. He said, and I quote «I don't need karate when I got you guys, no one's gonna mess with you!»

Eli got annoyed at him over it, but of course we still all love him.

"You're never gonna beat me though" Eli smirked standing into a fighting stance after sensei told me how good I've gotten.

I rolled my eyes before quickly punching him but he blocked it and flipped me over causing me to fall.

Our fighting consisted principally of dodges and blocks so I was surprised at his sudden aggression.

I rapidly got back up before side kicking him in the chest. I finally got him making him stumble back.

He swung at me but I dodged it making it the perfect moment for me to sweep his leg.

He acted dead on the mat which of course, made me laugh.

I knew that he could've continued, and beat me, but he wanted to give me the satisfaction.

"I will someday" I smirked while handing out my hand before he grabbed it and got up.

We both looked over at the door since someone had just walked in. Everyone stoped what they were doing out of curiosity.

the old man had a smug expression on his face while slowly walking in like he owned the place.

I could feel his aura from a mile away. He was no good.

I glanced over at sensei and he looked like he just saw a ghost. The room filled with tension.

"Who's that..." I whispered looking over at Eli.

"I don't know" Eli said while both sensei and the men went into his office without saying a single word.

Soon after, sensei returned with us.

"Class, we have a visitor. This is mr.Kreese, he's just an observer, pretend like his not even here" Sensei said seriously.

I shortly realized just how much stricter and serious sensei became with mr.Kreese's presence. They're was certainly a reason for that.

Every time we would mess up a move or do something wrong, sensei got annoyed while the other man examined our every movement.

I just hoped that mr.Kreese won't be present during the next practices, he drained the fun out of it.

*TIME SKIP*

"So, how do you guys feel about mr.Kreese?" I asked them before shoving popcorn into my mouth.

"Um, I don't know, he stresses me out honestly" Miguel sat crisscrossed.

"I'm just happy I got out when I did" Demetri exaggerated his words while his eyes widened making Eli's eyes roll.

"Honestly, he's not bad at all, he even showed me some cool moves" Eli said looking down at my face that was laying on his lap.

"Yeah I guess..." I murmured while Eli started playing in my hair making me close my eyes.

"I don't know, I just feel like there's something off  about him..." I added shaking my head.

"Did you see how sensei looked at him? It's weird" Miguel said putting one of my pillows over him.

I looked at him and nodded.

"y/n, did Eli show you his new tattoo? " Demetri changed the subject teasingly.

"New tattoo?" I sat up looking at Eli smiling. "Show me!" I kissed his cheek excitedly.

"Only if it's appropriate though" My eyes widen while pointing at Miguel and Demetri.

He rolled his eyes playfully before lifting the front of his t-shirt slowly revealing his abs and then the tattoo on his chest. It was a small dainty heart with my initial on it...

It was still red from his newness.

My eyes widen while my mouth dropped at the seriousness of the situation.

"You did this for me?" I whispered putting my hand on his chest before tracing it. He nodded with a smirk.

"Y/n, I think you're drooling..." Demetri murmured making us all laugh. I swear he always ruined moments like these.

"I am not!" I argued crossing my arms, fake offended.

"mhmm I think you are princess" Eli grin widen making me slap his arm playfully.

"you definitely are" Miguel laughed while I rolled my eyes before laying back on Eli.

"Don't get to comfortable, Demetri and I need to go back to my house, we promised my mom we would help her repaint her walls." Eli sighed gently removing my head from his lap before getting up.

"Yeah she wants new summer colors" Demetri said while doing jazz hands which made me laugh.

"Ok well, bye I'll miss you" I pecked Eli lips.

"What about me? Will you miss me?" Demetri genuinely asked.

"Demetri come on!" Eli half yelled while walking out, Demetri followed.

It was now only me and Miguel.

"You know...I've never seen him this happy" He spoked out of no where. I fully turned to him.

"Before you arrived, at school, Hawk, Eli at the time, was getting bullied every single day."

My heart shattered. I never knew this.

"He had the lowest self esteem, he couldn't even talk most of the time, let alone defend himself. You should've heard the things they said to him..." He added.

I winced at the thought. My poor baby.

"Miguel why are you telling me this I-"

"It's just you bring out the best in him y/n, you should see the way his face lights up when he talks about you or when we say your name." He softly laughed shaking his head while looking down.

"I'm glad he found you that's all" He looked in my eyes.

I was smiling like an idiot.

"I'm scared Miguel." My smile started fading away.

"What do you mean, are you alright?" Concern over took his face.

"Yes yes I'm alright" I laughed."It's just, what will happen when I leave? I'm not staying here forever..."

His face looked understanding while nodding.

"I'm falling hard Miguel, I can't just leave him here you know, sooner or late I'll have to go back home..." I looked down while shrugging.

"y/n... don't think about that right now, just have fun, go with the flow, you'll see when the time comes okay?" He reassured me and started patting my back.

"Yeah I guess, thank you Miguel." A smile started appearing on my face.

"Do you love him y/n?"  His face turned serious.

My heart started beating faster.

"I-" I sighed. "I think I do..." I only realized this now.

Miguel smile widen before he squealed like a little girl making me laugh.

"I'm actually seeing someone too" He said proudly putting his hands between his neck and the headboard before crossing his ankles.

"Wait really?" I got excited. "What's their name?"

"Sam" A blush came over his face.

"Awww Miggy you're blushing!" I poked, tickling him.

"Does Mr.Diaz have a little crush" I wiggle my eyebrows.

"She's amazing y/n..." His eyes brighten. I was so happy for him.

"What's her full name?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Samantha LaRusso"
