Rodas's POV-----------------"I'll be back! Take your time looking around" I tell Elora and step out of the room to receive the call."Boss, he woke up!" Z tells me over the phone call. Finally!I've been waiting. Motherfucking Rei.I head back inside the room but when I see her attention captured by the surrounding, I do not take further steps. She is lost in her thoughts that she even failed to notice that I have come back. I watch her trail her fingers over the edge of the piano. Damn. If only I could hold her. My hands are tied with my mistakes that led to what things are right now, I can't caress her even if I want to, I don't allow myself. I've let something very horrible be carried out in front of my eyes. Even if I punish myself for the rest of my life, that one sin is unforgivable. But I made up my mind to hunt every single one of those pests who laid their hands on her. I cannot rest until I cut them into pieces. My phone rings again and I immediately turn the volume off. She doesn't notice. I watch her for a while more before leaving for the basement."Tell her I've gone out if she asks!" I tell Jeremy who is in the living room. He nods, confused but I do not stop to explain.Z opens the rusted door for me and it opened with a loud cracking sound making the person being tied to the chair flinch.Rei. Badly beaten up, naked body covered in blood, head dangling on his neck. Eyes barely open as he tries to look over at me. I point at the bucket of water and Z goes to pick it up and pour the water all over Rei and grabbed the back of his neck to make him look at me properly. He smiles, looking at me with half-open eyes. I pull a chair and sit before him."Why are you smiling?" I ask with a calm voice although I want to penetrate his head right here at this moment. He laughs with a struggling sound and this time I couldn't hold back my hand. My fingers dig into his hair and slam his head against the handle of my chair. He passes out again."Bring more water!" I ordered Z.Rei Ricci. Once like a brother to me until he decided to betray my organisation and join a rival group knowing very well that once he gets caught there be no future for him. He has been with me for eight years and I trusted him enough to let Elora be in his care. But he bit me from the back like a coward. I know I was stupid to let Elora out of my sight in that condition but when she woke up and couldn't recognise me and even her brother, all I could think about was to keep her away from me because guilt was eating me alive. I blamed myself over and over for putting her in that condition because I was the reason she stepped out of the home that evening."Open your eyes and look at me Motherfucker!" I yell when Z pour another bucket of water.He flinches and mumbles something. I grab the back of his head and make him face me. His eyes are closed yet he is constantly blabbering something under his breath."You had the guts to betray me and can't even open your mouth now?" "Kill me!" He whispers with a shaky breath. "Kill me and toss me to the river as you like!" I laugh. Disgusted. "I will don't worry... I'm itching for it you know." I growl.He smiles, showing his bloody teeth but then in a moment, he cries. "Can I see her once?... Please!" I shake my head. "No Rei, you fucking try to force yourself on her. When she always called you the second brother. You arranged a petty act. You went behind my back and gave information to our sworn enemy, to that fucking Mason when he killed Father in front of our eyes and do you think I don't know about that cheap kidnapping? You were the one that paid those dogs to kidnap Elora from that Library weren't you? WHAT DID YOU FUCKING WANT TO PROVE-""I LOVE HER. I LOVE HER AND THAT'S WHY I WANTED TO DO EVERYTHING TO GET HER!" He raises his voice all of a sudden.Slap. I slap him hard across the face. Don't he dare say that.His bloodshot eyes land on me and then he screams in a broken voice, "In the end, that old man was no saint. He was a fucking loser who let other people do his dirty work including you and Me and I've never felt so good seeing him getting killed. He killed my parents!" "HE SAVED YOU FROM YOU GETTING BURNED ALIVE... IF FATHER DIDN'T KILL YOUR PARENTS. YOU WOULDN'T BE ALIVE!" I grab his shoulder, shaking him. "So what?" His voice becomes small and he let out a bitter laugh. "So what if I was burned? I didn't ask him to save me. He only saved me because he saw me as one of his dogs" I take a few steps back."But you didn't have to betray me. I treat you like a brother. I trust you!"He stays silent with his head low and then his shoulder shakes. "You're in no position to cry, Rei Ricci!" I spat."I fell in love with her" He mumble and slowly raise his head. "I swear I hid it well but when I started living with her... I couldn't!" He choked on his words.I close my eyes and take a deep breath to stop the boiling anger from erupting. I can't kill him right now and it takes me everything to ask this final question, "Why did you side with Mason?" Rei pauses for a moment, his complexion filled with guilt. "I wanted to destroy you and achieve her!" I nod and take out my gun."Goodbye, Rei!" I say, loading the gun and pointing it at his head. "Wait for me in hell"He keeps his head straight, locking his eyes with me."In the end, She isn't safe with you. I feel sorry for her for having to stay with you. At least, I wouldn't have let her baby die... YOU KILLED HER BABY RODAS!!!" "STOP, MOTHERFUCKER!!" I scream, firing out the bullets until there's no left.
