Rodas's POV-----------------I check the time on my phone. It's past 2 am. Elora has fallen asleep an hour ago. I silently fix my attention on her sleeping face and brush aside a stray lock of her dishevelled hair. She is the most beautiful even in her vulnerable state and I just can't get enough of her."Please, take me away from this place"Her pleading voice is going around in my head right now and refusing to leave, keeping me awake. I should do something.I slowly lift her head and pull my arms before laying her head on the pillow. Then I pull the quilt over her and quietly get off the bed. I text Z and Jeremy to be present in my office room for a quick meeting before going to take a quick shower. I wear a maroon suit and push back my hair. Once I'm done, I give a small kiss to Elora on her forehead before getting out of the room and heading toward my office room which is on the second floor. It's been a while since I last held a meeting with these two, things got busy and they were also doing their own tasks and Rei came in the middle.They are already in the room when I reach but I immediately sense tension in the air. I look at Z, sitting far away from Jeremy with a deadly expression. Jeremy's eyes are red and it seems like he was crying but as soon as I look at him, he smiles at me. I take a seat in front of them and stay silent for a while, observing them both. Did they fight before coming here? I have a little idea about their relationship. I know they are somehow more than friends but I've never asked anything further than that since I don't like to meddle in anyone's personal life.They usually make fun of each other but today, even Jeremy is silent. It must be serious."If you're not ready right now... You can leave!" I tell them."We are good," Z replies almost immediately.I glance at Jeremy and he shrugs his shoulder. "Nothing happened," It's like he is mocking Z's answer. "I don't know about others but I'm ready to talk!" Z said shifting in his seat.I wait for another minute and when they do not say anything anymore, I lean back against the chair and fold my leg, ready to talk about the real thing. "Any progress Zeco?" Z shakes his head, his face carving in frustration."But  I've got to know about one piece of information... Mason is gonna meet someone powerful. If they join hands, it would be a bit difficult for us" he says."Find out whom Mason is gonna meet!" I tell him.Z nods."Jeremy, help Zeco-""I'm good by myself!" Z interrupts me."Not like I want to work with you" Jeremy spats back. I sigh. What should I do with these two?"Zeco, if you do all the things by yourself then it's gonna take longer time. You still haven't succeeded in tracing that guy have you? And I can't trust anyone other than you two.""I will find out who Mason is meeting," Jeremy says to me and I nod in approval. Z doesn't say anything which means he has agreed. "I'll be out for a few days, can I trust you two with everything?" I ask, looking at both of them."No worries," Z replies."I'll inform you immediately after finding out," Jeremy says.I stand up, ready to leave. "Take care... I don't want to lose you two" I mumble and walk out of the office room. I take out my phone on the way and call Pavel."Boss,""Get the private jet ready!" I order.---------------I'm walking back to my room when I hear my name called."Rodas!" I turn around, only to see Liam. "When did you come back?" I ask."Just now," Liam went out of the country for his medical trip, I didn't know he would come back so fast. "Wanna come with us? Elora and me" I ask, unsure of his answer.I decide not to tell him that Elora has remembered everything again. I fucking want him to feel the shock and solve everything with my girl all at once, so he can't run away again. "Where?" He asks. "Just get ready, we are leaving in an hour," I say and start walking again."Rodas," he calls me again.I sigh, stopping on my track again and tilt my head telling him to go on. "Is Elora ok? Do I need to check her health?""You can do it later," I tell him. He nods.I met Liam again when Elora was hospitalised. I don't know why but once he saw Elora's condition, he proposed to do her surgery. I was still mad at him. There was no way, I would've let him do it but Liam begged me to let him take care of her. Was it guilt that he was feeling? Or was he embarrassed about the stupid thing he did to her sister?When Elora woke up and didn't recognise him, he was relieved. He said it would be best if she doesn't remember about him at all. He said that he wouldn't be able to face her. Our situation was the same and I didn't have the right to say much about Liam because the damage I had done was more horrible than his but I never wished for her to completely forget about me. The thought of not being a part of her is scarier than death. When Liam got to know about the baby, he asked me to let her go and let her live a peaceful life. Let go of her?Completely?Never.Though I do think about it sometimes, I also know that it will not be the same without her anymore. Ever since I've met her, I feel like I've become less beast and more human. I feel like I've become softer but I don't know if that's the reality or only my poor imagination. But I've become sure of one thing.I will be the one to give her everything.If she is going to live a peaceful life, then it would be with me. Elora Rose Green belongs to me. Body and Soul.
